I am going through something similar thank you for this great information!
Any woman with IC AND endometriosis here to comment on estrogen therapy?
after the hysterectomy my vagina is completely numb and my orgasms are much weaker, I'm 2 years after the operation
I just had an abdominal hysterectomy to remove a 13cm fibroid that was growing at the rate of 1cm a year AFTER menopause. I am 68. Everyone said they would shrink after menopause so I waited. Eighteen years later I had one huge one that absorbed the other two. If estrogen is why they grow why did mine continue to grow for years causing problems with my bladder and colon? Thank you 🙏🏼
I'm a former patient and am looking for Dr. G Davis, he saved me from this, and now it's back, worsen. If you sed this, Dr. Davis, please contact me. Thank you
My wife's experience with this was horrible, no numbing whatsoever, after year two years her periods show up and the whole thing sounds sketchy to me. Sick of the medical industry not considering women's pain in general, the medical approach to a women's comfort is almost non existent. I am sick of this professional ideology that "men" dictate for a female patients comfort. Not all doctors are like this, there are good ones out there. Fund research for women's reproductive health, it matters
How much does instillations çost
Fantastic words ❤❤❤
Please croatian or bosnian translate ❤thanks

Has anyone here had accupuncture and did it work for you?
I so desperately need a good urologist. I have no good doctor in my area
I wish all doctors were as in depth as you are.
I’ve tried Botox, which wasn’t great. I’m 67 and have taken 3 Elmiron a day for the last 35+ years. It helped keep me away from pain, but for the last 2 weeks my Interstitial Cystitis has been bad. The Elmiron cost me over $1500. for a 3 month supply and my medical insurance is almost used up.
You are amazing Doctor ❤️ Thank you for all your knowledge ✨
This consultation has given so much reassurance with any questions I have in my head. Thai you so much for taking the time out and sharing such importance ❤️
His video is how I learned the bladder structure and understand that all the sodas and caffeine i drink cause irritation. When my bladder flares it is usually because I have had too many sodas and coffee and not enough water. Sometimes I go all day and don’t drink until the end of the day and then my urine becomes very acidic. And if I do this for too long, then I get a flare. I just recently had a flare and I just started pumping water and taking Azo until my bladder calmed down and I was using a heating pad on my bladder and putting it somewhat on my vagina to calm down the urethra being irritated and within a few days, my symptoms were gone.
this is sooooo incredibly helpful and makes sooooo much sense, thank you, thank you, thank you.
I was very desperate. I lost a great deal of weight from the pain. This was very long time ago but I had a chlorpactin instillation under general anesthesia and I’ve been so good until now when my mast cells are way over active.
Amazing video! I'm crying- this is what I'm dealing with. I've been treated for "apparent" 50 UTIs (I am now 66 yrs old). Sometimes I did have E-coli or Klebsiella infection, but sometimes the dip stick urinalsis and culture did not find infection. Been on over 50 bouts of antibiotics and Prednosine. All the Dr's- primary care, ER, and walkin clinics kept prescribing antibiotics- Cipro and Nitrofurantion regardless of the testing! NO ONE ever mentioned this possible diagnosis. Recently, very tired, nauseous, bloated, and having pelvic/low back pain. The ER Dr's. were so soooo wrong! They told me to wear cotton underwear, change my gym clothes after working out, and drink water (then prescribed MORE antibiotics)- when the urinalysis and culture came back without infection!!!
Did you find a cure ?
Best video!!! Thank you!
Dear Dr. Davis I am a 55-year-old man who has been suffering from severe bladder pain for 22 years. My biggest problem is the quality of my sleep, which has led to excessive daytime sleepiness and fatigue. I am currently taking medications including Zoloft (Sertraline), Klonopin (Clonazepam), and VesiCare (Solifenacin), but my condition has not improved. Treatments I have undergone during this time: • Ultrasound scans have consistently shown no problems with my kidneys, but a slight thickening of the bladder wall has been observed. • Urinalysis has not revealed any infection, but a small amount of red blood cells has been detected. • Cystoscopy showed inflammation of the bladder. A biopsy was performed, but the sample did not reveal any specific disease. (This was done ten years ago.) • Botox was injected into the bladder (ten years ago) with no effect. At a specialized pain clinic, the bladder nerves were blocked, but this also had no positive results.I reside in Iran. Considering my circumstances, how can I access your teritments to improve my quality of life? My WhatsApp number: +989126093943 Email address: homauni_h@yahoo.com Sincerely, Gholamhoisein Homayouni
Thank you Dr. Davis for this valuable information. I’ve been on Synthroid for 16 years and I was just contemplating changing it to generic to avoid paying $48 a month. This will help me reduce it to half the price. Thank you!
Id like to know where in the world is this done outpatient? Thats crazy. I have never heard anything in this video. 1. All women here have robotic lap or normal lap 2. Abdominal is only done if severe swelling or injury during lap 3. Everyone stays at least one night in hospital. This is annoying as laparoscopic total is done every single day in australia with warning if abdominal if there is issues.
It was challenging and unbearable because of how critical my health situation was. but I am grateful and happy to have ordered Dr Aluda herbal supplements on TH-cam which I used and it shrunk my multiple fibroids completely💯💯💯

Be careful of estrogen if you've had cancer
I’m a man and I think I have this. Is that normal?
What about men
Is it a constant pain? Im suffering right for months already. I had all the test. At first i had UTI that just wont go away. They have provided me with different antibiotics cotri, cipro, the monurol and after that i went to an OB. She gave me cefuroxime and now i have no UTI. But i am in constant pain. My lowermost above my vaginal bone hurts like its burning or flaring down there. I went to an OB and she said i have fungus infection, i have, cervicitis, bacterial vaginitis. I had the oral fluconazole and vaginal suppository. Supposedly i should be ok after a couple of days doing and taking the meds. However, im still not ok. The discharge that comes out from me after putting vaginal suppository makes my vulva itchy and lips. Its also kaind of painful sometimes. Now i don't understand myself. I did, MRI, ct stonogram, urinalysis, transvaginal ultrasound, papsmear and internal examination with the obgyn. Can you guys please help me. I just want to be normal again 😢😢😢😢
Thank you for this explanation Dr!!!
Best explanation! Thank you so much
Thank you so much, very helpful!
Best video I’ve ever seen on IC! Thank you!
Doctor great info, appreciated. I was told womb, bladder dropped to stage 3, I must have a hysterectomy or insert pessary. Bladder working normal, no leakage. Disturbing feeling, peeping by vagina opening. No pain. Can I live with stage3 cystocele what are the further complications. Is the pessary ok to choose. No other severe complications. Is there more complications after surgery, bladder infections, incontinence. Please explain. Thank for a good video. Regards from South Africa
Age 69
Thank you so much. I have learned more here today than the years of having this painful debilitating bladder problem. I do have something called Radiation Cystitis, a bit more complicated from radiation damage but all the symptoms are the same, plus a few other things going on. Recently a Dr has recommended Elmiron. Is there any updates on Elmiron? The side affects sound horrid. Is there any side affects from inserting it directly into the bladder?
I am surprised that the Dr. did not recommend Amitriptyline… this has a been a proven drug to help with IC cystitis. I had symptoms for about 5 years back in the 1970s. I was eventually on amitriptyline which was a tremendous help. I was on a low does for over 40 years. I quit taking it about a year ago and just got a UTI and my symptoms started up after the UTI. Maybe I will need to go back on the amitriptyline again for a while.
It's not curing the problem, just preventing the healing, like all pharma. That's why people are so sick. The only healing possible is done by the body. I know this is hard to hear. I'm in the same position taking nitrofurantoin every time I have intercourse otherwise I have UTI. I have learned the hard way that germ theory is a fundamental error underpinning all western medicine principles. It's just low dose poison that causes worsening health. Good luck 💜
Thank you so much Dr. Greg, I constantly experience pain and flare ups, affecting every part of my life. I will be talking to my doctor about these treatments to heal from this condition.
I am fed up now..have pain ..frequency..retention ...frequency..what to do
OMG! I really appreciate how you treat your patients, you should be a teacher to gynocologist, you are amazing!
Recent diagnosed. Have all the symptoms for 4 years prior. 7 urologists, loss of jobs, and home, -$150,000.00 later, here i am. Pure misery.
I was very desperate. I did a chlorpactin instillation under general and I’ve been good for decades until now I’m a bit flared from my mast cells going crazy!
thanks
Just had it 4 days ago , iam recovering well. No issues so fat ,less pain
How are you now? I had mine 10 days ago and so far so good. Thanks to God!
