Civil War Relic Hunting Atlanta
มุมมอง 21Kปีที่แล้ว
Hey Everybody, We went out a few days for a couple of hours each time. We were able to find a few relics left behind by the soldiers. Many of the battlefields here are being developed so there wont be any signs a war was ever fought here. Sad really. Thanks for taking a look.

I hope your doing well Craig! I hope your just taking a break from this platform! And your review was the best and most in-depth review I've seen!
Nice and great video sharing friend 😊happy weekend
Im getting one in a few weeks, Coyotes are getting ridiculous here, time to introduce them to a moderated 243 with a 90 grain hollow point from a Tidwe blind ;)
Powerwash at the car wash, let light rust overnight, then redip in coleman fuel and trap dye mix... done.
Thanks for the heads up brother! That’d definitely be quicker for me lol. I dread it every year. Hope ya get lots of fur this year! 🙂🔥👍👍
Nice
Hey Scott! I sure appreciate ya taking time to watch brother! Hope you’re doing good 🙂🔥👍👍
👍
@@PAtrappingNoutdoors thanks for taking time to watch brother! 🙂🔥👏👏
Is the big 2000 home development on the southwest side of Atlanta?
@@cwf081166 Hey brother! I sure appreciate ya taking time to watch. One of the properties was being developed and had the roads paved and then I think the company went belly up. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before someone starts developing it. Another of the properties is gone now due to road widening projects. They seem to be developing everywhere now 😩 Thanks again buddy 🙂🔥👍👍
I love mine... but has all of a sudden stopped charging 😢
@@jacqueiharrell330 hey there Jacquei! Oh gosh. I wonder what happened 😟 you may have to order a new charger. Mine is still going but I guess it could die out too. I sure appreciate you taking time to watch and comment. Have a great week 🙂👏👏👏
I grew up in the Marietta area, and spent most of my time hiking in the woods. Although " progress" :( has ruined most of my finds I still know of a few places I could turn you onto. Suspected trenches & fox holes, pits. I now live between Kennesaw Mtn & close to RUff's Mill. Drop me a note and I'll turn you on to them. I used to metal detect, but I'm just too old and beat up now to spend days digging up barbed wire & pop tops.
@@kerryprance3767 Hey Kerry! I know what ya mean about being broke down these days lol. I can’t hike up the ridges like I used to. That is really kind of ya. Trapping season starts this month so I probably won’t be able to get out and detect until February. Maybe we can get together then and maybe find a few relics. I sure appreciate the offer and I’ll sure message ya after trapping season. Thanks again brother! 🙂🇺🇸🔥🔥👍
Thanks for sharing My friend
Hey brother! Just seeing if you pick up the black shell or if you can use green ones. Thanks in advance and good luck this season
Hey brother! I’ve always used the black ones. If I can’t find em whole I’ll rake up the hulls and use those. I imagine the green ones will turn black if ya give it a little time. Hope this helps and I hope you get some good fur this season! And thanks a bunch for watching 🙂🔥👍👍
Yep, dirt hole set, jaws packed, screen sifter on lid of 5 gallon bucket, short chain, rebar, swivel, bait, angle hole, funnel stick, claw hammer, walnuts bait.
Awesome Chuck! Sounds like you are as anxious as I am for the season to start lol. I sure hope you catch a bunch of fur this year brother 😁🔥👍👍
Are number 4s the largest you can use there ? I like number 5 bridgers or mb750s here in michigan
Hey there! I sure appreciate ya taking time to watch. We can use larger than a number 4 but I’m old and it’s hard for me to set em lol. I guess if I used some setters I may get away with it. 😁👌 I hope ya have a great season, I’ll be starting beaver here the second week of October 🙂🔥👍👍
Cool finds and thanks for sharing! I’m from Grayson in Gwinnett County and it’s sad that so much of our history here in Georgia, that’s covered over with asphalt, concrete or a house! I found a Civil War era pistol 3 ring bullet near an old copper mine cave outsider of Cleveland! The bullet was laying on a trail, overlooking the Chestatee River and most likely uncovered by a rain! Keep the videos coming, I enjoyed seeing each find! Thanks, Greg
@@gregchatham3890 Hey Greg! I sure appreciate ya watching brother. Yep it’s sad to see all those beautiful places being paved over. It won’t be long before ya can’t find any woods anymore. Great job on spotting the three ringer! Thanks again and have a nice week 🙂🇺🇸🔥🔥👍
Thanks for this in depth tutorial. I got my orange bottle on the way and a bobtail that I harvested and salted last year sitting in salt water now. Hope it works out.
awesome review, you always get the coolest stuff
very cool blind, hope you are well brother. Have great week
Hey brother great to see you. Thank you for sharing stay safe and God Bless much love and respect always
Great review, Craig. I use their bino harness and absolutely love it.
Hey John! 😊👋 Thanks a bunch for watching buddy. I really like their gear 👍👍🔥
I am surprised they see that worm in that heavily stained water. How were you rigging it?
Hey brother! Yeah I agree. But for some reason they see that morning dawn in the stained water. I guess it’s the pink in it. I catch a lot of em on that color. I sure appreciate ya taking time to watch and comment. I hope the fishing has been good there 😊🔥👏👏
Nice work!
Those look good to me.
Hey brother! I sure appreciate it, I like there gear! 🙂🔥👍👍
Thank you for sharing this review video and for introducing so many details about the product. In fact, many hunters have told us that there are still several areas for improvement, such as using quieter fabrics. We promise you'll see even better New View Hunting Gear in the future! We’ll keep listening to hunters!
We appreciate it! Y’all have done a great job with your products so far. 🙂👏👏👍
That's a cool pack, will check out the Link 🤝
Hey Will! Thanks a bunch brother. They sure have some nice gear. Priced good too lol. I hope y’all are doing good buddy 😊🇺🇸🔥🔥
I like that set up. That looks pretty comfortable. Could even be nice just to hike with.
Hey Shasta brother! 😊👋 yes sir, it’s a great day hike pack cause it’s got a good bit of room but ain’t too heavy. I hope you’ve been doing good 😊🔥🔥👍
Hey Craig, looks good. And comfortable. I currently sling my binoculars over my shoulder which is not the most comfortable. Trust you have an awesome week Brother 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Hey Dave👋😊 Great to hear from you brother. Yes I’ve been doing that same thing for years. This harness keeps everything right where I can get to it and is easier on my neck lol. It works well. I hope y’all are doing good and hunting season has been good there 😊🇳🇿🔥🇺🇸👍👍

Excellent
Super cool Craig, hope you are having a great weekend.
Georgia 👍
What type of salt is he using??
When I was salting each pelt I just used regular table salt. Once I made up my waterbath I used the big bags of swimming pool salt just because I needed so much. I hope this helps 😊🔥👌👌
@@GeorgiaTrappingandFishing awesome thanks 😀👍
1:40 notice where his feet are in relation to his nose and that hole. Something to thing about as far as trap placement at a dirt hole.
@@284Winchester hey brother! That’s a great observation! When I set under a log or big rock I always place my trap back a little further than normal and off set it. I really appreciate you pointing it out and hope ya have a good season this year 🙂👌👍👍🔥
@@GeorgiaTrappingandFishing hope you do too! I watched your mink box video. I’d like to see a video on mink trapping in Georgia.

Hey John! Thanks so much buddy. I hope y’all are doing well well too 😊🔥👍
I live in N.E Decatur . I found a civil war musket in the woods behind my house in 1969 . The butt of the riffle was sticking out of the ground down to the trigger .
Hey buddy! Oh my goodness lol. I probably would have fainted 😂 I’ve found a lot of pieces of muskets but never a complete one. That is so cool. Decatur saw a lot of action in the Atlanta campaign. Congratulations my friend and I sure appreciate you watching and the neat comments 😊🔥👏👏
@@GeorgiaTrappingandFishing I was with the neighbors 2 sons . We were 7 and 8 years old . We Ran into their mothers house with it and were all like "Wow !" "look what we found . Our parents confirmed it was a civil war musket . We were all pretty excited .
