About William Stauffer:
William Stauffer is a nationally recognized writer and trainer with decades of experience in the Substance Use Disorder system. He leads PRO-A, the statewide Recovery Community Organization (RCO) of Pennsylvania, and has been in long-term recovery himself. William is deeply committed to advancing recovery efforts, as demonstrated by his testimony before the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging and his role as an adjunct Professor of Social Work at Misericordia University. In 2019, he was honored with the Vernon Johnson Award for Individual Recovery Advocacy by Faces & Voices of Recovery.
