Two-handed flails were actually incredibly hard to counter. Look up some HEMA (or historical) techniques using it.

I didn't know that learning martial arts was for virgins. I rekon that if the guys in the vid came at you with real weapons you'd still shit your pants. No man on earth is immune to blunt force trauma.
Funny thing is, even non-lethal excercise in medivel times were more brutal them this :P People are so scared of getting hurt these days :)
