I feel like there was another ghosts n' goblins game that used these theme before it, but I'm unable to find what game it was from. Or even if I heard it before.

A small town full of miners and blacksmiths...trully no better place to trully hone ines craftsmanship skills... Wish Geo-Fulkright returned to us in MHS2...

Something I love about this game is that it has two versions of this song, but each caters more to the original version that played in the respective level it's remaking. This one is heavier in the computerized piano keys, just like the arcade version of Ghosts n' Goblins, while the Execution Grounds make use of lighter strings for a somewhat more delicate melody but just as epic, and it reminds me more of the Mega Drive version of Ghouls n' Ghosts than its arcade sibling.

Good topic, really.

replayed the og once i heard the remaster was coming out and coming back to this one u can hear wrenches and tinkering in the percussion throughout, representing the mechanical alterations made to the monster OUGHHH this game had and still has so much charm i adore it

I cried at the end when the frank sinatra music started. Was not expecting that at all.

The rerelease has brought me back to this absolutely AMAZING soundtrack. Ahh, such fond memories of flying on Ratha's back and racing this song, always ending just before I made it to the stone arch. It was amazing to do it again, and this time I made it there JUST before the song ends. I've truly come full circle, this game was my CHILDHOOD. I have over 400 hours sunk into the original!
