A Day In Tallinn Estonia, a great opportunity to explore this wonderful medieval town.
I took the ferry from Helsinki, Finland to spend a day in Tallinn, Estonia to explore and walk around in the Old Town, see the Banksy exhibit in the trendy Telliskivi. Visited Balti Jaama Turg (Market) for a little shopping and a coffee before some more sightseeing. Just love the atmosphere in Estonia, friendly people good food and lots of history.

    Why’s this a thing? The rapid movements are too stressful to watch and you can’t really see anything. Just silly!!

      Thank you for your comment, if you mean the rapid movements in traffic its because its a long drive shorten down but still you can see the drive. In the description there is added chapters so that you can easy skip the drive if you would like just to make it easy 🤠

    • @TouristFromNorway
      @TouristFromNorway 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, thanks for watching and thanks for asking the question. There is boats going from Harstad to Tromsø. have a look at express boat for example hurtigbat.info/harstad-tromso/ and also from Tromsø to Lofoten guidetolofoten.com/how-to-get-from-tromso-to-lofoten/ if boat is your choice, there are probably also busses that goes in those directions. If you plan a trip plan ahead, with also overhead for delays so that you have some time in between before next ferry goes etc. and also it can be weather related delays the smaller express boats might not go when its storm.

      @TouristFromNorway Much Appreciated. Thanks for your help & time. In other words one can drive all the way from Tromso to Lofoten without having to take ferries. Am I right in saying this? I'm planning on driving in Late October from Tromso to Lofoten islands. But I don't want to drive beyond 3 hours In one stretch. Can you please recommend some overnight stops along the way please? Thanks a zillion

      @@rajnaidu8401 So yeah the drive from Tromsø to Harstad is around 6.5H with stops, so you would need to stop in between here then if you like to drive around 3h a day, somewhere in the middle there are some small villages, like Setermoen they should have some place to sleep and eat, not sure if there is much to see there, but if its only for the rest its worth a google for the place, the drive from Harstad to Lofoten is around 3.5h did you also have a look at th-cam.com/video/ig3joIOlzC4/w-d-xo.html ?

      When visiting Saltstraumen you can refer to a specific current table to find out when the current is at its strongest. Like all tidal currents, Saltstraumen is strongest just after the new and full moon. If you look closely you can see small water "whirlwinds" unfortunately I didn't have a whole day there to check out the different currents :)
