The first and only 6L80 performance kit
Glenn Troub introduces the all new 6L80-TOW&PRO Performance Valve Body Reprogramming Kit from TransGo. This kit delivers quick, clean, firm shifts with increased holding capacity, while maintaining factory shift feel at light to medium throttle with progressively firmer upshifts through WOT.
The #6L80TOW&PRO kit incorporates innovative boost circuit upgrades to bring a whole new shift feel to your vehicle. As always, TransGo makes their kits extremely easy-to-install with all drop-in components, including pressure regulator valve with line-to-lube, TCC regulator valve and spring, solenoid regulator, clutch select valves, O-ringed end plugs as well as a cooler bypass delete kit for 2014 and later vehicles.
If your high performance or street show-off vehicle has the horsepower, this kit includes simple to follow instructions for HPtuners or EFI Live that will produce 1-2 and 2-3 tire-chirping shifts that will surely bring a smile to your face.

Can a 6T40 gen 2 transmission be programed where a 6T40 gen 1 was originally ?
With this kit and tcm tuned, how much HP and TQ you guys think it can handle after?
i used 4 6L80 full time cooler kits and the pump kits a week form transgo and HD torque converter from jensen torques NB Canada never replace a pump housing yet
HAllo , I bougtht an OBD II scan, Torque Pro app, Can you please help find the correct [GM]Transmission Fluid Temp (GM Method. I saw that there are 3 methods but I don't know which one to choose according to my transmission and have the most accurate measurement possible. I have e Cheverolet Equinox LT , 1.5 , FWD, 2020. I believe the transmition is a 6T40?!

Hey Glen this is D welcome I have a Gen 3 with stop start technology in the shop right now and the pump is different from a gen 3 non start stop and can’t find one anywhere

Yeah if it required just the valve body, that would be a cinch, but it requires removing the pump (on the right side of the screen) which is connected to the bell housing and torque converter. So yeah, you need to drop the trans.
Was just about to change fluid/filter in my 2015 Tahoe but after seeing this I'm tempted to drop the trans and put this kit in since I'll be towing an RV soon. How much is it, and how long do you approximate that it takes to install it?
