He's in the top 5 of the most number 1 albums behind the Beatles, Taylor swift and Jay z now of course those number might be fraudulent due to the fact a bulk of Drake's highest selling records have been made in the streaming era. Now if I called him the most successful call it out but don't demean me respectfully and yes rap has been a certified form of music decpite what most "music purits" say. When a whole rap album won a pulitzer prize for music and rap acts have won numerous rock and roll hall of fame awards, Grammys the list goes on and on. Just because it doesn't fall under a European standard of music doesn't make it any less of a genre the same arguments where made for shoot even jazz. So as much as I'm not a fan Drake to discredit his standing as one of the biggest artist of all time is delusional on your end.

Yes lyrically his most mature it's a lot like Japanese Denim same process but refined with time. It's his second best project in my opinion Today's Tradgety is his best but on this there was no space to breathe for the listener just an onslaught of bars

Your emotions are valid if you feel it's a 10 but to me it's a product of its time and nothing more. Music is subjective at the end of the day.

It's versatile, comprising of the different sounds that Nasty worked on throughout his career, most of which he's perfected. This album is evidence of his growth as an artist, it has everything. Again, 6/10 is bizarre.

@@jimmysypher why I rate is due to its similarities to his international contemporaries like Drake, Roddy rich and big Sean etc.. To me he's failed to craft a sound uniquely his the sound scapes on his album are to familiar and he does a decent job on this project but no so much that's is perfect it's a lot like logics underpressure it's good at what it does but nothing unique to him. If I can pull 5 or more MCs who've made projects with sounds that close to yours you aren't producing classics. This no strings and bling but a better project than Zulu man with power. To me this just doesn't wow its good for what it does the writing is great, music is good (the type of hip hop he makes isn't my cup of tea) all in all its above average not great.
