At the start you were talking about how it's rare for UK rappers to be accepted in US hiphop. I know you said Ren got that from you because he was in his own lane - and that's great and true for many - but because some of my favorite reactions to watch are steadfast HipHop guys reacting to Ren's more traditional stuff... I haven't seen a single guy, even the ones going in with the intention to hate, give anything but props to his Halftime (Nas Retake) where he pays homage by rapping over the classic beat. Genesis, which is more of a hybrid between "Ren" and traditional, like Money Ties, is also a favorite of most from that world. And his Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve) retake - especially the live version - interestingly strikes a chord usually too... because even though the homeland and the slang is different, it's a tribute to workingclass Britain and the love of the less than perfect in his home really seems to cross the culture barriers and resonate.

Ok so popular monster, zombified, voices in my head, Ronald and prequel are this era. Then you have the more punk ish influenced early years. To many songs to name in one comment but as you like watch the world burn my suggestions are in order above:)

They redid Papa Roach's Last Resort.. You have NEVER heard that song like Ronnie does it..

Definitely their song Prequel (a prequel to this video) and Last Resort Reimagined goes along with this visually too. And Popular Monster, and the last song with Tech 9 on it called Ronald, Zombiefied, The Drug In Me Reimagined, and I'm Not A Vampire Reimagined, Voices In My Head, and many more. They are an amazing band and yep, he's good friends with Tom! So many different rabbit holes for you to go down, including rock/metal type things. Soooo many. Im here for all of it! I've seen Falling in Reverse love 3 times in this past year. They are amazing. You never know what you are going to get with them. Ronnie can also really sing. This is another rabbit hole that I promise you won't regret going down.

I hope you start on a rabbit hole of Falling in Reverse. FIR and Tom macdonald are my 2 favorite artists. Ronnie can do it all though Rap, sing, and scream. He's labeled "controversial" because he speaks his mind and fights back against the haters. So he gets shit on a lot but it's one of the many reasons I love him so much. He went down a bad path of drugs and other stuff in his early 20s, ended up doing 2 years in prison for breaking his parole. But he got clean and stayed sober since then. Put together FIR while in prison and wrote the majority of the first album in there too. He has a crazy life story that's just part of the over view.

Glad you like it. Falling is a band on paper, bit Ronnie owns the music, makes all decisions, produces, writes the songs, and even records part of the instruments and brings in people for the recording. The band is on some recordings and obviously tours with him. They are great musicians. The drummer Luke Holland was pretty successful before and never wanted to join a band. Since he has less responsibilities in FiR, it's a great fit for him. The bassist Tyler Burgees is a great singer, which makes awesome live shows. I miss Chester and refuse to listen to the new stuf too. I just can't. Chester pulled me through my darkest times. He screamed what my haert felt. The whole FIR Popular Monster album is insanly good. Speaking of Tech 9, check out the song 'Ronald', from FIR he's a feature. That song goes hard.🤯🤯 Zombified is awesome and Last Resort (yes, Papa Roach cover) wil blow your mind. Ronnies vocal skills are next level. FIR is the first metalband since the Linkin Park era that I can feel in my core. You don't want to mis this 😁

I am a big Tom m fan but i love falling in reverse(FIR) everything they do is fire. you spoke Tec9ne's name FIR has a colab with him named 'Ronald'. Buckle up it's hard as f*ck and the video is even better. Another excellent reaction, love watching first time FIR reactions.

LOL You NEED to do the LIVE version of this... it IS NOT the same.... and in it ronnie makes a point to say "This is what happens when you push a person, too far"... so yes, you got it right. other FiR songs you'll dig: Prequel Ronald All My Life Zombified Last Resort Popular Monster and yeah... they're all off the newest album.... but this is when they hit peak Genre-bending.
