But since you are a pro on snorkeling, allow me to give you one advice to take the snorkeling ine more level up without any aim to offend in the name or caring our planet. Since all the refs are dying because of global warming and because of negligence. Here in this last point you can put your voice, fighting against negligence. There are companies who gives you the feeding fishes as an attraction, and actually doing this you are damaging the environment. Fishes will stop migrating in search of food and they will stop in that place because food is there always. This small action reflects in the lack of that fishes in other places and that is causing a huge change in the predator/prey. So recommending companies who work taking care of the animals and environment and pushing down that one's don't will be a huge support you can do with your amazing blog. Again, don't find it offensive. Between all of us, We can make a better world.

Do you have to swim out pretty far to get to the coral and see fish? I was told water clarity here is murky too. Trying to decide between here and Sharks cove for snorkeling?

I snorkeled this lighthouse in 1971 and it was covered by beatiful coral as far as the eye could see. 100+ foot visibility too. There were schools of barracuda and every kind of coral and fish at that time. Too bad to see that fertilizer runoff has caused algae growth that has smothered the coral.

Nice, this is near the lighthouse? I'd like to snorkel there too some day when we go back to St Croix. My personal favorite is Boiler Bay. It's a shame that almost all the fringe reef is dead though. St Croix has a large fringe/barrier reef around the north/eastern/south side, but it's almost all dead. Such a shame. I would've loved to see it in the 50s and 60s before it died. Oh one last comment, your videos should be longer :)
