Credit to Jay Venini for many of the pics used in this video. Check out his amazing blog here: www.exoticaesoterica.com/ Croat, Thomas B., and Richard D. Sheffer. I disagree & say that taxonomy is a representation of what happened/is happening in the natural world. It’s no longer based on phenotype, but rather, genotype. Arguments that arise are made by old people who aren’t savvy in the latest & greatest technology in genomic mapping.
I love Anthuriums especially hybrids
Wouldnt dioecy be more advantageous?
This was a goldmine of an information for an enthusiast like me, i wonder why this didn't pick up, only if this was actually made into full fledged series that would've been something else all together, anyways I didn't get to see any nerdy intresting science stuff being discussed around on TH-cam, its always either whats the rarest and most hyped plants and unboxings and careguides thats it, videos like this is what i crave for, amazing job, thankyou for this, also please let me knkw if there are any other videos ar channels catering to the science stuff similarly ❤
Thanks for this tremendous explanation
Is there a good place to get the sections breakdown around the 2:10 mark in the background?
It comes from this PDF (page 78) www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/Portals/0/staff/PDFs/croat/CarlsenCroat2019AnthuriumSectionMonophyly.pdf
