thank you so much!! i felt the same way, none of my friends are into music (in any form really, but definitely not into what i'm into) or play instruments. neither my hometown nor the place i live in now has a scene either so doing it alone was kind of my only option and i started the project during the pandemic as well. i do enjoy recording and writing alone a lot! but if you feel like you want to play in a band setting and do live shows too maybe you'll find a way to reach strangers with similar interests!

I just used the mp3 of the song, but I think there are websites that let you upload a song and remove/isolate certain layers of it if you're looking for something like that!

I can't sing for shit, that's my issue tbh, I would need a singer like you, plus I don't have any production capabilities, so impressed with how your songs sound so professional, but the writing is the main thing.

​@@ollieoleary i really can't sing that well either!! i didn't sing at all until i was like 19, it's gotten better with practice but i'm still at no point where i would be comfortable singing in front of a live audience lol. but it does make me feel a little better when people comment that i can sing or that they like my voice, so thank you for that! layering vocals definitely makes me feel more confident too. and yeah production is a bit tricky. i use garageband for everything so i didn't have to pay for recording software but i'm contemplating saving up for logic pro. indie production is always difficult but i do agree that songwriting is more important than production and if a song is good, i really don't care about low budget production or a bad mix lol

sorry you did not like my tab, i tried to make it as detailed as possible but that apparently did not work lol. i just used my amp + ocd

​@BigWorldx the issue with your tabs looking back on it you're not putting in the inverted power chords the main riff has 2 inverted power chords on the second and fifth frets with the normal e rooted power chords on the second and 5th frets. The way you have it transcribed it's just going back and forth between an f power chord and an ab power chord which you can hear 4 different notes in the melody

​@@shikaku_ idk man it sounded fine to me at the time but then again i don't really have the time to revise a tab i made when i was 17 lol but you can always make your own tab if you think that could be helpful to someone else. but i do have more than 2 chords in it when i look at the tab at ultimate guitar? 244, 557, 577, 224, is that not what you mean? i play it in the video and it's in the tab as well so i don't really see the problem
