I had a bowl in April. My first coddle. Fantastic!
The Glasnevin Coddle, pretty much the same recipe as our own family recipe, except we don't include the ribs or parsley. Our family are Glasnevin natives of over 200 years, living in the same house since. This is the tastier, more traditional variation as opposed to The Ringsend Coddle, which includes carrots among other abominations.
Best place in Dublin for coddle and a pint.
