Not to be dark, but if I die, just know I died happy. I ripped on this life for all it was worth. Pulled everything I really wanted out of it Like a juicy peach, I let this life drip down my arms. I got to see 99% of the things I wanted to experience, And that 1% was ever-growing. Hawaii, Alaska, and Peru were the only places calling to my soul that felt truly important to go see. I didn’t do any of this for possessions, Or titles, Or recognition. Most of what society promised didn’t hold much value to me Most of the American dream lost its allure by the time I was 18 A life dancing with god was all I ever really wanted And I got it In the highs and in the valleys Gods hand was always there When I was too weak to walk He carried me. I feel everything so deeply A life at baseline was never the goal The capacity to hold pleasure Is the degree in which you will experience pain It is a capacity model Just know that even if I never live another day I lived a really good life And Jesus is King. He is a faithful, loving God and the minute details are unimportant. When you remember my name, I hope you remember His. When you remember my name, I hope you make art. When you remember my name, I hope you go take a drive. I hope you go watch a sunset. I hope you grill a steak. I hope you linger in the places where someone is strumming a guitar And I hope you lose hours staring at a campfire. I hope you hug your people. I hope you don’t lose sight of the gift this life is. I hope you let God guide you home. & mostly, I hope you love adventure and home equally.

This song is SO TIMELY for my family and I! My 13 year old sister has cancer, and Sunday I had gotten a call from my parents asking to gather all of my siblings to come and say our goodbyes… We prayed, we asked for a miracle, and here we are 5 days later and my sister has made a MIRACULOUS recovery and doctors are in AWE!

This is SO GOOD!

I let this song cover me today in the morning, just meditating in it and allowing it to minister to my heart and spirt … not even 1hr later Myself, my husband and our 4 children got into a car accident…. The cars were totaled however Gods hands were on both vehicles because we all (11 in total) came out without a scratch and when I looked down; my Bible was beside my foot 🙌🏼🙏🏽📖❤

In the middle of incredibly confusing church doctrine talks with the potential for getting excommunicated over 'rebelliousness to leaders'. I am finding it hard to make sense of it all but the truth is God is so much bigger, the enemy is defeated, and God says 'no-one can pluck them out of my hand', I am his and he is mine, no matter what is decided. I will praise him and raise a hallelujah anyway - even amongst the confusion man creates!!
