People also lose weight by changing their diet, increasing exercise and by elevating the leg but the redness remains. Should the lymp system and veins be investigated? Many people worry that they are susceptible to further problems in the leg with the redness.

I heard in the background my friend said " why can't she get on with it?' prompted 1st comment. Ha, talk of verbosity, dig this comment, not sure if I coulda shortened it. I am 83 and have venous excema I have very swollen legs and can't get shoes to fit.I try to manage all this myself and wondered if I could get any help. you talked about healthcare people being in the know about this 'disease', I have had this for years and it obviously has got worse, my lady doctor just kept telling me to raise my legs up when I sat down.I do go to see specialist nurses who deal with this now but about once a year. Kind regards ANNE HEPWORTH🤭

I see red legs are very common usually in obese and elderly. It makes me so angry that there's never looking into or asking questions of diet and lifestyle. I believe this stems from a poor diet of too much sugar and carbohydrate foods, fruits included, over time this is the root cause. If you cut out or lower carbohydrate foods this will stop the root cause. Even exercise alone will not stop the root cause. I'm a living proof testimony.

Please do you have any advice as to where I could turn to/find someone to look at me? I have agonising leg pain for 7months and I'm getting no help with my NHS GP or A&E and I feel utterly depleted and hopeless. I've been bed ridden for months now and I can't live like this anymore. My symptoms: Excruciating pain, swelling, can't walk well, can't bend foot to bum, can't bend knee's, pulsations/spasms and I am now finding loads of blue veins appearing key area around my torso and legs. Where the pulsations happen, I also get a stabbing/needle/laser sensation. Also experiencing crushing pain around my heart/left boob. I'd greatly appreciate any advice on who to see or what could be the cause. MRI on back and brain and have back fine, but no one will do tests on my legs. I'm desperate for answers and would greatly appreciate any advice or where I could seek support. Much love

I thought i had caught a bad clod with soure throat , fever & chills so i done what i normally do take panadole plenty of water & rest . I did start to feel Muscle aches and pains as well but just thought it was part of the cold . After a week i thought i was getting better but then noticed a red rash on my right lower leg . Within a day it was a around my whole leg & i could hardly weight bear on it . I went to the GP late as always & he said it was cellulitis . Marked it with a pin gave me antibiotics & said if i grows past the marks to get to ER right away . Thankfully the antibiotics done the trick . However it's fightened me how fast it went from just a rash swelling & soreness to me not being able to walk on it . Really needs to more there on Cellulitis . Thank you so much for doing this video
