Packing up to head out Boondocking, or to go camp anywhere in our Airstream
We got a few people asking about what it's like to pack up and move the Airstream, so we made a quick and somewhat rushed video covering our process. Even though we mention boondocking a lot in the video, this pack up process is pretty close to what we'd do for any move.
For more thorough details, please check out our blog post -tincancreative.co/packing-up-to-go-boondocking/

Unboxing our new Front Runner Expander chairs
มุมมอง 10K4 ปีที่แล้ว
We don't normally do unboxing videos, but we got some chairs and they came in a box, so we figured we'd unbox them on camera. These are the Expander Chair from Front Runner. They're much smaller and easier to stow away than our old chairs. Hoping they help us save space when we pack them up, while still being pretty comfortable! Get them from Front Runner Outfitters (they're cheaper!): www.fron...
Horror on the Road! - Friday the 13th has its revenge...with our composting toilet
มุมมอง 1884 ปีที่แล้ว
We're trying something a little different today. This Friday the 13th was pretty awful in terms of road life. We had a really frustrating incident with our composting toilet. So we decided to salvage the day and make a video sharing our experience. This was shot, edited, and uploaded in one day. We haven't done anything like this before, we usually spend a lot more time shooting and editing, so...

How we downsize and declutter! | Full Time RV Life
มุมมอง 1.3K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Downsizing is not something that stops once you hit the road. Even though you've cast off most of your possessions to fit your life into a tiny mobile living space, you're still going to bring along a lot of things you don't really need, and you're going to pick up stuff you don't need along the way. You just need to make downsizing a part of your routine on the road, and off, in order to keep ...

I own a Browning Kodiak camping chair and a Browning Camping Cot XL. I had the same problem of getting the chair in and out of the bag. So I got to looking at the zippered bag that the cot came in and figured why not use the cot bag for the chair. It worked great. So, I got on the phone with Browning and ordered an extra cot bag for the cot . Problem solved. Don't remember what they charged me for it. Wasn't that much.

The Covid situation has prompted me to make the move because we don't want to use campground bathrooms (we only used our toilet to pee not poo for several reasons) and we want to do more boondocking. We've been meaning to do a long term review of the thing, but we don't get very excited about making it save for the poop jokes. What do you want to know about it? *Yeah, we have a ProPride too. The previous owner sold it with the Airstream. It's great on the highway, but the design has caused some cursing when hitching/unhitching on uneven terrain. We don't see many of them either, maybe we can get ProPride tattoos? *It's an Insta360 OneX. It's quite neato. You can get some really interesting shots with it for sure, but dealing with them in post takes a bit of effort. Thinking of doing a quick review of it at some point.

I'm a big fan of the Ikea kitchen cabs. I've installed full kitchens with that stuff, and I honestly think that they're stronger and better quality than 90% of all American cabinets. If you glue the wooden dowels and use the included twist-lock fasteners... Yeah, that thing isn't coming apart, unlike simple finish nails. Beautiful work!

We'd definitely consider them when renovating a house in the future.
