Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Walk at Night | San Miguel de Allende, MX
The theme of Día de los Muertos? All good things must come to an end, but that doesn't mean we should forget them. Let's take a night walk around Calle San Antonio Abad, where the old cemetery is located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. During Day of the Dead, this street is filled with ofrendas and music.
On our stroll, you'll see that the festivities are winding down. Unfortunately, it was too late to go into the cemetery again at night.
Then we walk up De Los Muertos an alleyway of sorts decorated with marigolds, candles, and papel picado casting shadows.

Día de los Muertos | Day of the Dead Cemetery Walk | San Miguel de Allende, MX

Día de los Muertos is one of the most beautiful holidays in the world. Let's take a walk through San Miguel de Allende, Mexico's more modern cemetery called Panteón de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. I'd usually take pause at filming in a cemetery, but Day of the Dead in Mexico is a celebratory time: bands playing, marigolds being laid on graves, people drinking. If you can visit any city in Mexic...

Rainy Walk Through San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

You might think San Miguel de Allende is a perpetually sunny place where it's perma-springtime. But much like everywhere on the planet, San Miguel has its share of weather. So here's a stroll down Calle Hidalgo to El Jardín when it's a bit drizzly. Don't worry - bits of blue sky peek through every now and then. We also take a detour through Dôce 18 Concept House, a food-drink-fashion upscale ma...

Let's walk and shop through the Mercado de Artesanías to Fabrica la Aurora in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The former is a side street that's dedicated to arts and crafts that make for some excellent souvenirs. While Fabrica la Aurora is a factory-turn-art-gallery-high-end-shopping center. The city has plenty of other places to shop that we'll explore later. For now, enjoy the walk through S...
Danza de los Voladores (Dance of the Flyers) | San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
มุมมอง 1155 ปีที่แล้ว
This centuries-old Mesoamerican ritual Danza de los Voladores sees a group of (usually) men climb up a high pole then spin gracefully toward earth using skilled extremities to unfurl a rope. No safety net. Nothing but solid ground below. And you thought bungee jumping was adventurous? San Miguel de Allende, Mexico | 2019

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico | 7-Minute Saturday Walk

Walk with me through the historic heart of UNESCO World Heritage Site San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, up Calle Aldama! On this quick weekend tour, we'll tackle a slight incline, possible Instagrammers, cobblestones, and a camera that can't seem to decide where to focus. With all of the natural and architectural beauty, you can't blame it - I have difficultly focusing too. Listen to the fireworks...

Walk with me through San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. No talking. No added music. Just a 21-minute jaunt through the cobblestone streets of this charming high-altitude town in the late afternoon. We'll begin and end at the iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel in El Jardín. In between, catch glimpses of street vendors, cafes, and restaurants as we marvel at the colonial architecture on this unp...
NO name, "Casa No name HOtel?
Looks great, but there is a secret. My wife and I stayed here in the best room they had. It was truly something special with its own private balcony. The secret is there is a nightclub nearby that blasts really REALLY loud music until almost 5 in the morning. It is virtually impossible to sleep as the walls seems to vibrate from the obnoxious amplified noise that continues nearly all night. Management seemed helpless when we complained, as if they had heard it all before. There was no sympathy or any compensation offered at all for the sleepless nights we spent there. I even wore earplugs, without success. It is simply too loud!! Perhaps you are deaf or enjoy being kept awake all night. If so, then this is your place.
😃👍😉👏🤗🇲🇽
Just got back today from a week there, it’s magical, can’t wait to return!
Is an expensive and nothing extraordinary place
Creep en acordeón 🤣
What is the name?
Loser hotel.
Where are you from?
Is it cold at night?
I would say it's "chilly." Definitely want some warmer clothes but no need for heavy winter jackets. Hope that helps!
I meant the scene at 10:00. Sorry
Check out the scene at 11:35!!!!!! Big cartel in the house. Bodyguards on both sides of the streets when the guy gets out of the white escalade. All of the cars with flashing lights were together. Those other cars dropped off all the men on both sides of the streets. Whoever that was, was a boss for sure!
Not a cartel in Mexico it’s very common to have bodyguards relatively
No,most like a politician or big empresario, narcos don’t use that kind of trucks and doesn’t dress like that.
Beautiful video. I also recognized the song playing in the beginning (on an accordion?) . Its Creep from Radiohead.
