Hello JHR, My name is Jim, I've join IRacing back in December of last year took me awhile to set up IRacing. I'm NOT a wiz on the computer, just know enough to bill paying and surfing and buying stuff on the web, other than that I know nothing! Just installed ioverlay and I don't know where to go from there. I listen to what you are telling but I just go to "brain fad!' you tell me to put in a license # and like a dumb $hit I don't know where to go or I don't see the next step. I know I downloaded the program because the see the web page and that's where I'm stuck HELP!!! I would like your input if you don't mind. I'm in Hawaii, not knowing where you're at I don't know what kind of a time difference will be. Thanks for your time and thoughts...ALOHA!

Have you found a way to simplify having slightly different button layouts with different games? I can’t wrap my head around that one

Unfortunately the VPG Elemento Pro is not supported by Nextion in Simhub so there is no telemetry.

Simhub no longer supports Nextion so the dash display is now useless. LEDs still work but are not customizable. Trying to find a workaround but no luck.

Do you think it would be possible to use this kit to have a Mclaren Artura Pro USB version (to have the full RGB capabilities) mounted on a simucube base without having dealing with pluging the USB cable everytime I remove and install the wheel ? My racing rig is also my gaming rig, so I quite often remove my wheel. It's not the end of the world, but I would absolutely like to be able to only remove the wheel by the quick release as the Fanatec, Asetek and Simagic base can do. Thanks

You can setup your Bass Shakers and Buttkicker separately by selecting custom instead of right/left. You can add all 3 and select the items to transmit to each one.

Why didn’t you consider the GTS race chip? Why just the RS?

I just noticed the huge lag between the on-screen wipers and the cam-view wipers. This is recording at the same time but the cam is lagging badly.

So the "live" tire wear does reflect what iRacing indicates the wear to be?

No it isnt. Heusinkveld sprints are overprized. Asetek forte base would save you money for the qr.

Once you start getting into the Heusinkveld Smart Control it really starts to open things up. Admittedly I haven't had the chance to get into all it has to offer yet. Very nice setup 👍🏻

I appreciate you making this video but it was extremely hard to follow because everything your resolution meant that all the text and window controls were so small, you couldn't see your mouse pointer, and game noise going on in the background.

How did you connect the HF8 to Simhub. Was it via the headphone plug on your soundcard?

Hi, thanks for the video to show us. I wonder if we need the paid version of simhub for this as this is different than a buttkicker.. Looks to me it doesn't add much to it, or i am wrong.
