Good to know. Question is the front seat 1958 impala 2 door same as 1958 oldsmobile 2 door?
Looking for a speedminder and select a lite.. do you where I can get those?
An you post an updated video of the speedminder working?
Do you have a video of this unit installed in a 59 Can you post it please because I have this kit and I cannot figure it out to save my life and I have the same exact instructions. I can't find where the jar mounts on the driver side because you're right there's no room on the passenger side
I'm so happy for you and your litter bag.
You trying to sell the OG kit?
Thanks for the info! I'm on the hunt for a 58 luggage rack for a brookwood.. would you have and info on places or people to contact? Thanks
Ive heard that 1958 imp as la was a one year only design ??
@@JoseLopez-tb5mk yes it was all by itself. One year only design
@@karlferazzi7471 So what specifically...cuz i noticed it share "level air" sudpension air canisters. Also was 1958 impala itself one tear design vs. Biscayne and belair of 1958,ty.
Never knew they existed!!
Stunning car!!
I like these skirts and the ranflas look awesome, love it 👍
You have a beautiful fully loaded 1959 Chevrolet Impala!!
You have a beautiful 1959 Chevrolet!! I have been in a car doing some laps at the Daytona International Speedway. The banking in all four turns there is at 31 degrees, which is very steep. It looks much steeper in person than it does on tv. What did you think of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway?
I don't understand how any vintage Chevy enthusiast can say there were never any 4-door Nomads, when it went over to that for 4 model years starting with the '58. The tri-5's were very expensive and not practical as wagons being luxurious 2-doors. They were 'halo' cars that brought attention to the wagon line, but never sold (themselves) in large enough numbers to be profitable. When the new '58 bodies were introduced, the Nomad, now a 4-door, was much more in line with the other wagons, though it was still the top line wagon like the '59 featured here.
Cool, though not one shot of the outside?!
I am also curious if you can provide the measurements required to install a third row nine passenger seat in a 1961 wagon that was not set up for the third row seat. I need to know where the brackets and stops should be installed at. Thank you.
Do you happen to have the dimensions needed to install an original 61 Luggage Rack on a non-luggage wreck 61 wagon
i have a 59 elcamino and i was wondering where you got the one piece floor mat from because idk if it would be the right size in the elcamino but would be real nice
I found it in a collection of parts in Oklahoma. Yes it would fit in an El Camino. Good luck on your search for one.
@@karlferazzi7471 thanks i hope i can, is it from chevy or whats the brand on it
Great video very informative. What about feet that have the side slat mounting hole, but have 4 attachment holes instead of 2?
ps Your should do a vid showing how this ashtray works, too.
Are you selling anything from the vehicle
Most of the parts have been sold. What are you looking for? I have parted down several cars.
I need all 4 side rear bumper brackets both driver and passenger for 1959 el Camino or wagon that go from the driver and passenger side bumper sections to the frame. I have the bumper guard brackets. I emailed you the same just now
If these are legit businesses selling parts it would be nice to let others in the hobby know about places like this.
Repop is still good 👍
Good find man. Did your neighbors throw a fit because you have an old car in your driveway? Most neighborhoods complain it makes there property is worth less.
Merry Christmas Karl love your channel i would love to pick your brain on a few things on the impala i have 4x 60s impala
any of this for sale
love your unity spotlight mounting brackets how do you install it do you have to make a giant hole in fender
Does the power tailgate window switch say "top" like the convertibles or does it say something different?
🚘
Thank you for this info. Your 59 Is Beautiful. 🚙🚙🚙
Love the '59 Chevy wagons. My dad used to have a blue '59 Parkwood. Thanks for posting.
What size tire goes with the repo kit? Seems like you know a lot about this stuff.
shifter dialer is 1960
What is a shifter dialer?
@@karlferazzi7471 on the steering column next to the accessory light
that one came with the light inside 59 didn't
@@6010rod that’s a select-a-lite which was a 59 accessory. It was an aftermarket accessory not offered by Chevrolet. The 59 didn’t come with a steering column light so that was the solution.
@@karlferazzi7471 yes you are correct but the transmission indicator is 60
🔥
I'm happy that you are the person that got this car fomr the 1st owner.
Thank you
@@karlferazzi7471 You are most welcome.
I can now see why GM recalled at their expense, the Air Ride system. With all those components it also makes it hard to work in the engine bay. Thank you, Karl.
Excellent! That Wagon is loaded with all the goodies, Tri-power 348, Air Ride A/C, and Ash vacuum. Thank you, Karl, for sharing.
Indeed what a find. Thank you for sharing.
Excellent! My family preachest a new 58 Impala 348, Cashmere blue with White Top with had standard coil springs. I drove that car until I was broadsided in 1976 and then pulled the. engine and Powerglide and installed them in a clean engineless 63 Impala. Thank you for showing and explaining the complexities of the air ride system and shock placement.
I too like Wagons. I was wondering what that speed minder was, have never seen one and I am a Chevy guy. You have the Top of the wagon line with the 348. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for showing us your Beautiful 58 Chevy and explaining the Air Ride system.
Location ? Contact info?
I guess we’ll never know. Some of us are trying to finish our cars too 🤣
Super clean 🧼
My kit looks exactly like yours 🫡 thanks for the videos so informative. I honestly didn’t know if it was repop or not the guy I bought it from said it was Nos
I in fact purchased the correct vacuum ashtray … thanks for your videos!!
Any comments on the trans??
It’s a cast iron two speed power glide
Location?, Parts for sale?
They are located in Ohio right outside of Cleveland. Yes the parts are for sale. Call Jim at 440-236-1959
Informative video, more great information. Keep them coming.
Glad to see the comments issue has been resolved !
Karl, the comments are turned off on your newer vids. We cannot comment on them, like the Chevy Stationwagon and Ultimate 1959-1960 Chevrolet Collection. Hope you will turn them on for us.
Thank you for letting me know. I turned the comments on.
