I was blessed to go to ISRAEL in 2007 a lot has changed just looking at the new technologies , passport scanning etc.
Why need to scan pasport?

Getting into Israel is easy. Getting out requires 2 hours of having your stuff searched and being interrogated by people specifically trained to piss you off.
Was this takes before Covid? Cause I see e 747 of El Al airlines in the gate, which is not in used by the airline anymore

Yes, of course I do! I remember TLV airport. We were there before. We went to Israel in Summer 2006. It’s been over nearly two decades now. It’s a very long time.
I was there in 2007 but and my flight landed at night. This is all as I don't recall passport scanners , tickets for luggage etc.
@@joshuanun4933 the scanners are new and exist also in Europe

The toilets in the luggage hall are nicer and not as crowded, if you can wait.
My only caution to your suggest ion is that you don't know how long it will be until you can enter the luggage hall. When traveling internationally, it is a good idea to use restrooms when they are available.

For some ethnicities and nationalities, be ready to be taken into custom interrogation rooms, harassed and asked to be strip searched. If not, they interrogate you like how they do in Iran, totally ruin your trip. You might get a two red lines and get kicked out too "if" you are lucky. They won't give you food or water while you are waiting to be deported which can last a day.
How very interesting and exciting! I was not so lucky when I went to Israel because everything was just straightforward and boring.
