Hi Richard, Singing? - Hell no! This is the track that I was talking about a while back (maybe a year ago). I used AI to create the vocals, the quality is way better now than when I made this. I added the synths, strings, bass, piano, and percussion using Cubase and VST's. I was recently in the UK helping my mum to move house, so I managed to do some filming (also in London). Gabriel eh? - someone else mentioned Rod Stewart (I'll take either) 😂😂😂 Hope you're well mate

Thank you Bill. The track is The Lake - Pastis. I get my music from Epidemic Sounds, I don't usually go for this type of track but it has Crowded House vibes which is synonymous with NZ to me. I might experiment more with my genres in future. There's another coming up in Part 2.

@@WilliamHenryAlbert - I was going to message you a few weeks ago. My wife & I went on a road trip to Alaska and were hoping to see bears, we decided that we probably needed a camera with a tele lens. Believe it or not, I have never owned a proper camera in my 56 years! Anyway, it was a last-minute decision (3 days prior)! My son uses a Sony A7siii which is great for video and photo but I wasn't keen on the price plus lenses. He mentioned an APS-C Sony - the A6700 to me. As soon as he said it - I remembered that you had one, so I quickly checked on your channel and ordered it through Amazon on the spot. We added a Tamron zoom lens and went to Alaska. I didn't have time to research and learned it on the fly. I got some great videos and photo's of the bears - a video coming in due course. I knew that we already shared interests in the Pocket and binaurals and figured that you would have done the research - so I must thank you for this! I have yet to follow the TH-cam tutorials on the setups. My next adventure is in March to Japan and I will need to get a wider lens - do you have any recommendations for this please?

@@markreevestravels758 Hi Mark, thanks for your message. You chose well, I really love the A6700, especially as I can now shoot 10 bit footage. The autofocus system is amazing too. If you need any advice on any particular settings I use, I'd be happy to oblige. I can highly recommend the Sigma 16mm f1.4. I've found it to be really sharp at all apertures and is very good in low light. It's great for "walking" videos too. I also have the Sigma 56mm f1.4. I have recently purchased the Sony 70-350 which is another great lens. All the lenses mentioned are a great price for the quality you are getting. Hope this all helps. Which Tamron zoom did you buy? I'm sure, like I did, you will find some helpful videos on youtube. Looking forward to seeing your Alaska video and also the NZ one. You amaze us with your travels. 😀

@@WilliamHenryAlbert Thanks Bill, I bought the Tamron 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Lens which seems to be pretty good (as far as I know - better than my phone at least). I think the Sigma 16mm 1.4 could be the one I need. I want to take night shots in cities and use it for some video too (mainly tripod work). I'm just hesitant on a fixed length in case I want to get a bit closer, but I like the idea of the 1.4 for low light. I'll probably have some questions in the near future - thanks in advance.

@@zhouyouxixiangfeng hi, we left the boat dock at 10.30am and was back at the dock at 2pm, so we took 3 1/2 hours. We probably had 30 minutes for lunch, so yes - 3 hours is doable. We could have walked quicker I expect, but if you're going all this way - why rush- you need to soak it all in. If you did the early sound cruise - I'd expect you'll have lots of time to do both. Enjoy!

Thanks Bill, we stayed at Royal Pines Resort Golf Course - got a great deal (actually - I think they messed up). The Broadbeach area is really nice, there were loads of "schoolies" I think you call them at the time of our visit - crazy busy, but we met some really decent, respectful kids. We can definitely see the attraction of Oz.

@@markreevestravels758 Ahh yes! Not the best time to visit the Gold Coast. Glad you got to meet some good kids. We have just returned from a short break in the Byron Bay hinterland in a lovely holiday home on 35 acres, it was paradise! Happy travels.

I'll watch for sure...Actually I also planning for EBC... And the date I marked for Ramechepe to Lukla is 7th October... But after seeing your video I am literally scared 🥲🥲 ... If the flight is delayed due to the weather the whole plan would be hampered... 😓😓

@@ana_the_traveller you can never fully predict mountain weather unfortunately, I believe there is a Jeep alternative which gets you a bit further on than Lukla on the trek, not sure how sketchy it is though. Have fun and good luck on your trek 🙏🙏

Turn the volume to OFF..Problem solved. Learn to solve problems like the Japanese do.

Hi, we started the trek on 13th October 2022 and flew out on 22nd October, the weather was fantastic the whole time, and our guide commented that we could see mountains that are not always visible and were fortunate. It is great that you got to trek with your son. Thank you for watching 🙏🙏

We were stuck in Ramachhap for a couple of days because of the late rain, some had been waiting for 7 days to fly into Lukla - this is probably when you were trekking.

We returned on 13th from Lukla to Ramechep. We came to know that from 6th to 12th October there were no flights due to bad weather. We were trekking during these days. Later I came to know that, from 13th October, the weather was clear.

Anyway we enjoyed the overcast and rainy trekking days. The return stretch from Namche to Lukla was through trails drenched with rain.

Maybe we got onto the plane that you guys got off? There's a video of Ramachhap airport on 13th on my channel.
