First Time at a Lift Serviced Downhill Mountain Bike Park
มุมมอง 1832 หลายเดือนก่อน
I drove to Sunrise Park Resort this summer to spend a couple days riding their lift serviced downhill mountain bike trails. They are the only lift serviced downhill mountain bike park in Arizona and did not disappoint! I had a ton of fun and can't wait to go back! This video showcases Jaarge', Pinedale, Identity Crisis, Chutes & Ladders, and Lomazona. My favorites by far are Chutes & Ladders an...

This is quite possibly the best mountain bike trail I've ridden so far! Full Sail in Flagstaff did not disappoint. Go check it out!
The BEST Mountain Bike Flow Trails in Arizona?

Went up to Prescott, Arizona to check out the Bean Peaks gravity flow trail system. I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend checking it out! My favorites were Jelly Bean, Magic Bean, and Beany Baby.
The BEST Do-It-All Trail Mountain Bike?
มุมมอง 1.1K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
What's up?! I just picked up a 2023 Yeti SB140 Lunch Ride (LR) T3 and it is AWESOME! Here are my first impressions and my first ride with it. More to come once I get some more time in the saddle. Do you think this could be the best all around trail/enduro mountain bike? Let me know!

Awesome video, thanks
Thank you!
Howd you access wifi
@@yallahi369 I use Starlink for WiFi if I don’t have cell service to use my phone as a hotspot
Haha "You're not only going to burn one spot, you are going to burn all of it!"
Just trying to be honest out here lol
Fab to see a truly compact camp kitchen set up!
Thanks!
That’s a moment that you always remember
October 19 is the Boo Jam at Fort Tuthill. You should come out. Some of us will be camping from Friday to Sunday. Come join us!🤙🏻
Sounds fun! I’ll see if I can make it up there that day.
Just rode this yesterday and the plan is to go back this weekend. Also with good weather coming soon here in the valley we won't have to go far for riding. Where do you ride in the valley?
@@ivanbejar5 I try to ride a little of everything but I’ll ride in the Sonoran Preserve area either from Desert Vista or Apache Wash, Browns, Hawes, McDowell Mountain area. Haven’t really picked a spot and ridden it to really learn it yet. I’d like to put some more time in at Hawes and South Mountain as the weather gets better.
@ExploreLifeWithDaniel that's awesome. I've done small sections of Hawes and my goal before then end of the year is to do National trail even if I die once or twice on the climb up
That’s a nice thing to wake up to
Dope setup man
@@deonlingum9850 thanks! Made some updates since this video. Gonna put out a fresh one soon.
Just got done building my single sided sleep platform with drawer. It's 30" wide on the passenger side. The drawer is soooo convenient for all of those odds and ends smaller outdoor items.
@@stevenm6301 not sure how I’d live without them now! It’s super convenient.
That’s cool
Really sweet setup!! Just found your channel and subbed, looking at different ideas my for 4Runner. I've removed all the back seat but want to keep the headroom so not sure about a drawer system yet.
Thanks! I love having them but if I did it again I’d make them slightly shallower for more head room. I’ve made some changes and will be making a video on my revamped setup soon.
I did the same on my old bike
Those are some cool jumps 🤘
the best part of Full Sail is you can just fly down it.. no need for first time tow-ins. it's that flowy and good. no surprises. some of the features are a nice touch, and give it a blue rating.
Rode this last weekend and it was such a blast!
Just went for my second time and it was even more fun being comfortable at speed!
@@ExploreLifeWithDaniel NICE! I hope to get up there again soon and so some laps
Diablo Burer is a great spot if you're looking for a top-notch burger in flag, you got to check it out!
Went there after this ride and it was great!
Any jumps?
Some small ones but nothing big from what I remember.
eyyy partner lets ride sometime
Always down!
Another beta male mustache channel?
@@heathfranklin4296 🤣
I’ve been meaning to do this one. I want aware the road was closed … wonder when it will be open again?
The climb isn’t too bad, I was wondering the same thing! No one I spoke to seemed to know when it’ll be reopened.
@@ExploreLifeWithDaniel would you prefer this or bean peaks ?
If you can, hit up both and decide for yourself! The dirt in Flagstaff, at least on Full Sail, is better than the dirt at Bean Peaks. But I think it comes down to riding style and what you like. I found Full Sail more enjoyable personally.
@@ExploreLifeWithDaniel i did bean peaks last month, going to do this one within a few weeks. the 2nd trail back was Schultz creek I'm assuming ? and also... Diablo Burger and Bun Huggers :)
Nice, have fun! And yep, takes you all the way back to the parking lot. I had a burger from Diablo Burger and it was pretty good!
i can tell the first good rain on these trails did some work on it. i was there few weeks ago and it was still super smooth and even powdery in some places.
@@drewsky1967 with how much it rains in Prescott, I hope they have the means to maintain the trails.
@@ExploreLifeWithDaniel same. You live up there ?
Nope! I’m just up north frequently escaping the heat.
@@ExploreLifeWithDaniel same here haha.
i've found that after being there twice, i'd prefer to start at hub 2 and just ride magic and spicy for a few runs. the upper trails (imo) are not worth the ~2.5 mile climb - for sure ride them all, then determine what's fun for YOU, but i did Cool beans and prolly wont ride it again. just doesn't do it for me (however that big rock roller is cool).
@@mikestivers8302 that seems to be the consensus about this place. Have you been out to Full Sail yet it Flag? I’ve heard it’s pretty good and the dirt is better.
@@ExploreLifeWithDaniel on my list, sir.
Wi so slo
Cause I’m not fast yet! LOL
Haha nice video, That is me and my buddy at the 7:45 mark in your video. Chilling at the truck with the canopy over with flag sun shade 😃🇺🇸
Thanks! You guys were killing it out there haha
Cool vid! Getting up there sunday to do this same run
Have fun!
I really enjoyed watching that. Thanks. The reason I did watch it was watching you “Learn to Mountain Bike”. I’ve been thinking about getting back into it. I hung my bike after a nasty spill in Moab 30 years ago. I wasn’t ready for that place. Now that I’m 55 (with the heart of a 35-40 year old) I wonder if I *could* get back into this. But, I enjoyed it regardless.
@@CrippleCreekStudios go with your gut! I’ve had some nasty injuries from different sports, so I understand the hesitation that creates. Glad you enjoyed it and I hope the best for you!
Keep at, you'll get it.
Great job keep up the good work 😊❤
Thanks!
Napoleon dynamite!lol
🤣
Thanks for sharing trail content. Enjoy your new bike, Yetis are great riding bikes!
Thanks!
It is so awesome to see you supporting the kids on the trail in such a positive manor. Not everyone feels the same when there are groups of kids on the trail. Great video!
Thanks! Love seeing kids out enjoying and experiencing the outdoors. Reminds me of how I grew up. I’ll always support that over shoving a tablet in a kids face any day.
This bike just called me poor.
🤣 doesn’t give you any more skill than before but definitely helps make some things easier.
Great video dude! That looks like a good place to practice things repetitively which isn’t’ super easy to do down in PHX. Bean Peaks just opened a few weeks ago in Prescott and that place is pretty fun and if you go earlier in the day it’s still in the 70s🤙 super flowy with berms and jumps, very fun
Thanks! Just got back from a day trip up there, super fun. Glad there’s finally a gravity flow trail system nearby. Can’t wait to see how they expand!
This makes me want to mountain bike, getting to the top of the trail does not.
🤣 right there with you. This place luckily has a super mild 3 mile switchback climb to the top, so it’s not too bad.
Nice job 👍
Good job bro 👍
Thanks! Couldn’t hit that last year so it’s cool to see it go this time around.
Yeah I bet
Noice good job
Just came across this one. Can you share the link for the part 1? Unable to find it for some reason.
Sure thing! Here you go. DIY 4Runner Drawer Box: Part 1 th-cam.com/video/mnnrbYbWVuo/w-d-xo.html
Sick. What table is that?
It's the KingCamp bamboo folding table. Here's a link to it if you're interested. amzn.to/3RnWrnZ
Thanks for the link and such an awesome setup you got there. I was looking to build a platform bed for my photo trips and got tons of ideas from your build!
@@SudhiSV That’s awesome! Post some pics when it’s done!
Nice job on the drawers! I'm 54 and trying to figure out how to make money doing stuff I like, hard part is health insurance. Look forward to more videos.
Thanks!
Part 3?
how much did you spent on materials?
hey mate, hope all is well. We are all eagerly waiting for your part 3 :D
Can you drop the plan for this?
Currently in the middle of my build and will take a few pages out of your book! Eagerly awaiting part 3 as I haven't quite figured out my sleeping platform yet.
Hey awesome job putting that together! Im new to woodworking but I really want to try this build. Have you got a material list you can share? Whats the total length of the space inside the drawers once they are are installed?
Looks great! Standing by for part 3!
Nice work carry on
