Hey bro, please help here. Im thinking to buy Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 laptop. Its specs are i9 14900hx Rtx 4070 240hz monitor 16gb RAM Im getting it at 1.45L Im considering it as i travel a lot between hometown and work town. Should i buy this laptop? Or with this same money i should build a PC in my hometown.

im considering buying this laptop, got a couple questions if you dont mind did you have any coil whine issues with this model? theres a lot of reviews on 2023 release where they say that pretty big issue, but not much on a 2024 release the other question is if you having any stuttering issues when playing games? I saw a couple of reviews where during FPS test in the games there was noticeable stuttering every couple of seconds, which would be extremely frustrating (especially if youre playing any competitive games) last but not least (although im certain the answer is no but i gotta try) - any chance you could do some tests on the screen for response time on gray and black/white? Theres absolutely no reports on 2024 model, and yet again, 2023 model had serious response time issues, although manufacturer states that response time is 3ms in any case, thanks for putting up the benchmark!

Bruh you aren't even testing the area where it makes actual difference, the reason why it is so similar is because at cinematic and very high settings black myth wukong uses lumen which is a form of ray tracing built in UE5 so you're comparing ray tracing to path tracing not ray tracing off vs ray tracing on

i think ray tracing is a huge fps eater. if you can play at high frames with it than cool if not dont worry about it

I just bought the same laptop. Earlier I bought the Alienware x16 with 480hz monitor. I replaced it with this one coz on games like valorant, cs2 or any other esports game I was getting same fps on all settings whether low or high. I thought it was a problem with Alienware so I got it replaced with this same model asus scar. But I am facing yet again the same problem on this aswell. Same fps regardless of settings or resolution. Coz I tend to play on lower resolution to get more fps but here that is not the case. Do you have the same issue? Do you have any idea why is that?
