This channel is about the videos of the legendary studio drummer "Vinnie Colaiuta" only. Yeah, my inspiration too and I like his technique on whatever genre he plays especially in playing different time signatures... 🥁😊

Hmmmm….that must be boaring for Mr. Collajuta
Vinnies mastery of odd time signatures and best displacement is evident from 6:22 - 6:43
That whole thing that starts from 05:11 is turbo Vinnie 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Herbie is always the man…but I’m a bit disappointed that he didn’t bring in that iconic piano riff until the very end. That little scale is what makes this song what it is.
he comes from another world ❤
3 times worse than on a album 😮
Amazing vinnie
Stubenhouse!!
You cut out the best part.
It's amazing playing but pretty terrible music...which is interesting.
Let me guess chic corea can’t stay out of anyone one else’s solo
bass player keeping the goove is phenomenal! Bravo Neil! One of the best fusion bands of all times!!!
Holy phonk
Prime double-bass Vinnie
Vinnie ❤
It’s as if aliens descended
Love the Black Friday quote at the end!
No wonder the drummer is looking at the monitor mixer guy, he is missing beats all the time because he can't hear properly. Imagine being in the audience, after you buy the ticket to this accident of a gig.
You realize that Vinnie knows exactly what he’s doing here on the drums? He explained it in a separate video, how he listened to different mixes, and came up with this particular song and odd rhythm, which he admitted was both a joke AND all in 4/4 time! He’s one of the greatest drummers and musicians ever, and has been for around 50 years. To think otherwise demonstrates a lack of awareness of this kind of music. No, you probably don’t want to dance to it. You should instead listen deeply to it. You may not understand it, just as I will never fully understand most of what Mahavishnu Orchestra did back in 70-72. But I still can appreciate and be amazed at the musicianship of those great players, in the same way I always appreciate but could never play like Vinnie.
most complete musicians ever the communication is crazy
holy shit
😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉 OMG!
Wow... This is what’s up! Chris Potter’s solo was fresh air. So nice in context.
Anyone know what ride that is?
Peart the best ever??? Haha 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Isn't the main riff in this song the same one in Toto's On The Run?
That drum break slaps.
tHAT SNARE SOUNDS AMAZING!
The GOAT! but I cant stand the drum sound and the coated heads. Very dead sounding
Dream Team
Actual Proof of when drummer drinks way too much coffee...
Iconic version. Herbie is one and only.
Mike Clark did not play a drum solo........................VINAIGRETTE?
Awesome. “Resolution/Eternity Breath” is a Mahavishnu Orchestra medley. “You never know” is composition by former Mahavishnu Jan Hammer (it’s in Jeff’s “There and back” album). JB played MO’s “You know, you know” live many times too.
Master Drummer Vinnie at work 🥁
I like Herbies live versions more so than his albums
Herbie and Vinnie no better musicians
That track is smoking
at 6:41- 43, if you've heard the bootleg audio of this, the crowd went wild over that.. 🤩 you barely hear it here..
simply awesome ! Thanks for sharing :-)
Tunes the shitty high school drumset and pulls this off.
Vinnie 😮
My guitarist and I were hanging out one day watching videos of great musicians. He’s not at all a drummer, but nevertheless he turned to me and said “is it just or me or is it the case that whatever sound the glasses dude produces with a drumset is just automatically disgusting?” I told him yep, pretty much
I agree. On top of that, the guy with the glasses is skipping a lot of beats, which makes this music unlistenable.
@@MeAndTheBoys_ you’re a troll
That keyboard solo gives me a hige biner
At 0:42, I thought they're going to play „On the Run” by Toto. :)
È una registrazione pessima!!! Non si sente niente.....e poi l'assolo di colaiuta dov'è???? Penoso!!!!
Gracias por subir bendiciones universales ☄️❤️
One of the best drummers ever!!! Amazing album from this song.
Vinnie the best
I prefer the groove of Mike Clarck on this song
The '74 Original is tops! Mike's groove is deeper the the Grand Canyon, Would Love to hear Weckl's rendition
