Hey, everyone! My name is Jules! I am a surfer and gamer who loves nature. I play many different video games and try to promote chill and good vibes on my stream and videos!
I played 100 HOURS of SATISFACTORY: Here's What happened. (Part 2) 25 Hours to 50 Hours
Welcome back to the second episode of spending 100 Hours in Satisfactory this episode covers from 25 Hours to 50 Hours of me trying to wrap my brain around different factories that I created. But on a more serious note, this episode is longer with more timelapses and more camera angles so I hope you like it!
About Satisfactory: Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory-building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Play alone or with friends, explore an alien planet, create multi-story factories, and enter conveyor belt heaven!

Hello, everybody. A year ago I published a video in which I spent 100 Hours playing Anno 1800 and I thought what if I did the same in Satisfactory and incorporated timelapses of factory creations and telling you the challenges and the stories that came from it. So this is what I did and here is the first part of the video encompassing 25 Hours in Satisfactory. About Satisfactory: Satisfactory i...

This way of game play just makes your cities look like rows of blocks.
There are definitely many different ways to play, I gotta say I was more interested in the challenge of having a big city and trying to have everything imported from another island. I did not try to make my cities particularly beautiful, but a lot of people love to do that and that's very understandable

I mean... The city shape is interesting, but that culture spam galore and the hotels... would be very fun to implement those in the city as well
Yeah you are right I just didn't really have any ideas in order to do that and I was starting to feel the burnout after playing the game for so many hours.
can you share some of your late game production layouts? I'm having trouble putting all production on 1 island with electricity efficiently
There are a bunch of layout on the anno 1800 wiki but I mainly had a lot of boosts for the range of my electricity generation building which is the main reason why I was able to electrify everything
lol 100 hours? i had way more and only did 25 max you sure this was 100h ours
Yes with all 3 videos this took me in total 101 hours to build up to this I also did a lot of things to try to make everything efficient and I am far from being a pro at this game as well so that might be some of the difference.
@@scalpy3067 nice :D keep up the good work!
Longer cinematic shot of the finished city would have been cool.
Yeah if I were to redo this video now I would definitely include different cinematic shots and maybe shots going through some parts of the city in more detail. Thank you for watching and for the feedback!
That build style may well cause you more headaches with more complicated factorys, that said though, layered factories make perfect sense. The way I think about how to build something is thinking of the entire factory as a circuitboard.
Oh that is an interesting way to look at your factories, I like that. I was thinking of potentially starting to add different levels to my factories to try and make things a little bit easier and also that would take less space overall but I'm not sure if it would actually make things simpler/cleaner.
100 hours so you are still a noob. I have 400 hours and still think I am rather new.
Well I have played around 400 to 500 hours but this is just a new series I have started and I am definitely not someone who knows all of the ins and outs of this game and I still have a lot to learn.
Amazing video! It was kind of fast, but I loved how you progressed
Thank you, I will definitely try to slow down on the next part, but I also forgot to start the cameras on one of my builds so that definitely shortened the video. But definitely working to make the next part even better!
thats cool but in my opinion a city need a style :)
it does lack style a little bit, unfortunately I did not have the heart to detail the city.
Good job! I also want to do something special on the cascade of greatness
go for it, that sounds like it would be cool!
Impressive
thank you!
DAMN!
thanks!

Glad you liked it

Agreed
Even has the DLC that changes the pronunciation of everything!!
yeah realized my mistake because my French self took over on the pronunciation!!
Anal 1800?
The dealing with the electricity bottleneck was painfull to watch lmao, you couldve just added another underground powerline parallel to the road
Ah I didn't think of that, it definitely took me a while to understand how that worked.
@@scalpy3067 its easy to learn hard to master! Just keep exploring options, eventually you'll make an awesome city 😉

Nice !
Thanks!
i need a stamp of the nice city <3
Haha if only we could
Nice optimisations! Those trade unions and specialists really do make all the difference! 🙂
Very much so!
If you could had at the bottom like a counter of the hours that would be great but really good video
Thanks for that I will definitely try to implement that in future similar series!
nice video !
Thanks
can we have raw video? pleaseeee
Unfortunately not for this one and probably not for the future, I might stream some of my future series, I will make sure to put a link in the description if that happens in the future.

I love the AI, I make them my friends and trade with them. I have discovered a trade technique where I can bring all the items that they offer and I do it automatically. It requires an IQ of 1000, but the trade routes can be configured in such a way that you can bring all items that the AI is offering. If anyone wants to know how this is done let me know.
How ?
@@mustimix5555 Set a trade route to an AI by clicking your island and theirs. Choose the items that they are offering. Then on the same route make another one by clicking your island and theirs. So you have something like this: Your island: AI ISland: Your Island: AI Island: Next, move your trade routes up and down: so they should look like this: Your Island: Your Island: AI Island: AI island: The ship will upload all the possible items the the AI is offering. Check regularly for the items that they are offering and add them to the list.
Wars r boring? Not really lol. I think i got over 50 hrs and yet haven't siege one castle and haven't got married. Im lonely lol. Anyhoo, have any exploit on how to make unlimited money at the beginning? I stink at this game hahaha i mean i getting better sort of. Help me....Meow
For money at the beginning, the best way is to keep your army small and do tournaments until you can buy a workshop that makes money for you
@@scalpy3067 I did buy two workshop and had my companion doing selling goods or trades. Not alot thou at the start lol....Purrrrrrr
@@meghansmith7884 another way you can make money is by making swords at the blacksmith as well.
@@scalpy3067 Abt tht method, takes long process lol Someone told me to make two handed swords for a start, then javelin. Honestly i keep smetling all weapons from looters and somewht small armies...Meow
You're not wrong about the military aspects being bad. Unless you actively control each ship they do the dumbest shit during combat.
Yep, it's just unfortunate I had to wipe out the ai, had I known I would have just not had ai apart from pirates maybe
You, 8 hours in electricity and all major regions unlocked. Me, 8 hours in: oooh, engineers, cool.
And imagine that some people go much faster than I do, but everyone goes at its own pace.
Sooo.... Where do we watch the full series from the beginning?

@@scalpy3067 aye nice that u still answer after all the time, wrote that comment after the first two minutes when u said it thrice or so but its a great video all in all and u really made some real fast progress, u said in there u would let enbesa stay for later, did u realease a video of that already? wish u the best, bye!
@@-camaro yeah the second video was released I'll pin a comment with the link!
Stop knocking down old buildings and putting up new ones. In real life that rarely happens. On your main Island don't knock down old buildings to build sky scrappers. Building them on the outskirts. The only buildings you can realistically knockdown are industrial buildings. People rarely complain about an old factory been knocked down. Why am I saying all this? Because the beauty of human cities is reflected on what people need and desire, not, what some God like city planner thinks is beautiful. Let the natural needs and desires of the people guide your design. For example, the first roads were footpaths humans made to travel, say from their home to a lake. Over time those same paths were enlarged and rocks laid down, then eventually, concrete. Also to construct a building and then demolish and rebuild is costly and time consuming.
Lol
Damn bro relax lol
3:55 Wait what!!! How on earth did u manage to get into a war with Qing? Did u start it yourself or were u activly trying to piss her off. Qing and Bente are so friendly that u barely even have to try to increase there diplomacy rating. It almost feels like there rating goes up by default.
I honestly can't remember, but I know I didn't start it myself. I did start other wars later on myself, in the 60h part of this.
why didnt you biuld the dam in manola to get your eletricity? Its the most efficient way
I didn't know about the damn until recently so I didn't focus on it. But I hopefully will focus enough on the new world in the future to build it.
Do you have a city layout video? The on you were making near the beginning of the video is amazing looking.
The anno 1800 wiki is usually where I go for my layouts, some of them I do on my own but most of the ones in this video are from the wiki
Question: Did you have all three NPC at 1 star or did you run with only two? I'm asking because on my 2nd play through, I just removed Beryl from the normal difficulty setting but I also don't want a boring experience.
I ran with all 3 on the 1 star level and honestly I might as well have gotten rid on npcs entirely, I left the pirates on normal but the npc ended being either useless or annoying, I play this game for the logistical challenge not for politics or war so it was more annoying than anything and I have now eradicated the npcs so I basically don't have npcs in my game apart from pirates
@@scalpy3067 if you want to play with NPCs just as flavor and no harrasment I'd recommend only bring Bente and Qing, they're both peaceful and nice...Willie on the other hand is a weak but petty nuisance. He's all around jealous when you settle islands, says things like "My mom told me that..." and the worst thing is he casually sends propaganda to your island and if you retaliate he says "doesn't matter who started it, cut it out!". I can't stress this enough, it's such a pain...even if you're in an alliance with him he keeps bombing your main city with propaganda which lowers their happiness...that's annoying enough as it is but he does it in such short intervals that it's pretty much a constant debuff. I had to buy his only island with Helium access (made sure to be in a full 100 alliance with him and a non aggression treaty for good measure) and shoot down all his Kolibris (small airships) by building a fleet of Flak-Monitors (6 were more than enough) and equipping them all with pirate flags...took over two hours in that session to deal with that issue but now he has no airships left and can't make new ones. It only took one activation of the pirate flags to destroy them all because he kept sending them at the fleet for some reason, in fact so fast that I even shot down a few of Qing's and Bente's airships after I was done because the fleet was parked at my harbor and in the last minute of the pirate flags effect the Monitors automatically shot down the Kolibris that were coming with care-packages...damn you Willie!
@@AgeofJP good to know, thanks for the info!
So I'm new to Anno 1800 and this game genre in general. I bought all DLC and decorations packs. It took me 80 play hours on normal setting to realize Beryl is a bitch and she quickly became too powerful for me to deal with. Now I'm on my second d play through with just 1 star NPC competition. Nice job doing all that so quickly!
Thanks, I knew what I was doing though, I'm now in uncharted territory though and it is definitely taking longer
I would love to get some of your stamps for your designs.
I need to work on that I'm pretty sure I saved none of them.
I absolutely love this game, I've got over 100 hours into it in the last 3 weeks. However, I get overwhelmed once I reach the engineer stage. There's soooo much that needs to happen and it's so difficult for me to manage everything. I always feel like I can't produce enough stuff for the residents, but I can't increase the population to get more money because I can't meet their needs. So eventually I end up stopping and starting over in a new world from scratch... any tips on how to get through this?
I used to have exactly the same problem and the main thing that you need to know is that engineers and higher levels make a lot of money. A lot more than the other types of houses. So even if you can't fulfill all of their needs in the near future you should still look to upgrade as much of them to engineer level and higher. That will put a strain on their needs but it will make you a lot of money to be able to build the factories to give them what they want. Also there is a simple trade you can make between the old world and Enbesa which makes a lot of money. You can buy pocket watches from one of the neutral ai in the old world and sell them in Enbesa for a higher price. So I would recommend setting up a trade route early on between the two to have a lot of passive income. This will allow you to make money even if you're a in the red in terms of income. As long as your negative income is not more than like -20k or something like that the trade route should be able to compensate.
This is by far the best tutorial series of the game. It goes from the most basic stuff to the most sophisticated and it's structured like a playthrough. The first few episodes should be enough to teach you how to sustain a healthy economy: th-cam.com/video/HqXRULW2NSY/w-d-xo.html
@@scalpy3067 If you upgrade too many houses, won't they start moving out due to their needs not being met? There's just so much logistically that I have to learn. Very overwhelming for me.
@@hundinger1 I've seen a few of his videos. I'll definitely watch the guide. Much appreciated man thank you.
@@Mike-pd6np as long as the needs of the previous level are fully met they should not move out.
Love this quick summary of your gameplay. It's given me plenty of ideas for my own save. Also like how your commentary now matches the footage it makes formuch better viewing.
Thank you, I really tried to make everything match correctly and I agree that it makes for a better viewing experience!
Build the dam power plant on the big island in the new world
I told myself several times I needed to do that but I always get sidetracked away from the questlines, I need to put a reminder somewhere to stick with the questline to be able to do that.
You lost me at anal 1800.
With Docklands I import and export tens of thousands of goods each cycle. Steam Carriages are my main export goods. Exported tens of thousands of them so far. Also they sell insanely nice in Enbesa at the King's Harbour. My Cape Trelawney has a cargo storage limit of 17 000 tons.
Thanks for the tips!
@@scalpy3067 Make sure you use Susannah the Steam Engineer this is mandatory, so instead of Steam Motors your Cab Assembly Line uses Filaments which can be imported and are extremely cheap to do so + two other optional. Bruno Ironbright, Engineering Giant as another slot will completely "break" the game. If you dont have access to this Feras Alsarami or any other production increase characters will do. My best layout I could come up so far managed to squeeze in 8 Cap Assembly Lines inside a Trade Union's radius. With this setup I making around ~40 tons of Steam Carriages per minute. This is more than enough. I never needed a second set. One 8*50 batch of Steam Carriages sell for almost 27 million in Enbese at the King's Harbour.
@@KopiG86 yeah I wanna start dabbling more into specialists and trade unions
Not sure how much play time I put in ,sure lot more than 25 hours and nowhere need as far as you, I just started 1st airship hanger in the Arctic
