Thanks for the video. Are there dual drive pipes leading to the same ram pump? How is that working for you. I am inspired by your two stage barrel filtering system before sending water to your ram pump. These are two ram pumps installed side-by-side. We cannot operate both pumps at once since the lack of rain in this part of the country has adversely affected water levels. As such, we currently do not have enough water. As far as the shockwave is concerned, the turn on the pipes do seem to reduce it. I have no data on this other than my observations after having first installed a system of pipes that ran straight into the pump. The shockwave in that system was massive. The whiplash it produced damaged on multiple occasions the two inch hoses that ran up to the reservoir.

Are you running two ram pumps side by side - couldn't tell? I wonder if the turn in the drive pipe interferes with the shock wave? The only way to know for sure is to compare stats between different setups and similar pumps. Do you know your: - drive pipe length and diameter - head elevation - delivery pipe diameter and length - delivery elevation - water volume delivered? Hi. I’m using the E+ medium from: www.mobot.org/jwcross/duckweed/media.htm#HOAGLAND, and with a cool white led about 5” above the water surface at 75-85, and an air stone, there’s no growth. Would you have any insight on what mineral media and light color temperature it needs, please? For example do you have any idea of the nitrogen content of your water from your organic fertilizer? Thanks

Chickens don't eat algae... You should filter out the algae, otherwise you will have competition between the algae and the duckweed. Tilapia will eat the algae though. You can always put in mosquito fish, they will take caare of the mosquito larvae but they wont eat your duckweed :D

Great job brother…. I toke a small amount of it from my brother in low for my tilapia fish at home and its growing like crazy!!! So I decide to move it to my family farm. I really like what you’ve done... great job. You saved my time I’ll just copy yours ; - )
