Still think the worst thing which can happen is if you get a body found in Amendment XXV on the way back to the exit on a perfect run but yeah failing Requiem is pretty painful.

No. Map trick still in contracts. but it only skips the picking up items. To do this, you must have 2 pistols in your hands

hey, i was wondering what was the reason behind restarting the mission "Temple City Ambush" couple of times.. asked bunch of people, no one really explained :(
Agent Smith's location is randomised, so (as you may have noticed) he opens the map fast to see where he is and restarts if its not in the best position!

Your cover has been blown / Guards now looking for a suspicious "X" don't count as alerts therefore it is still possible to get SA
@@SCROTOROLA I know, but I think it's a weird mecanic. Can't see how you can get the highest rating in a game, where the point is to not have your cover blown, lol.

im loving it lol i started out learning to speedrun blood money but switched to learning this one. the ai are so much better, & i also just really love jespers score on this game as well

Very nice run. I do have a question though. Your sliding is very smooth, on this run and also on the H2SA one. Do you use any mouse macro to do that ? I'm not calling you a cheater or something, just curious as I want to try it myself
thanks, I'm a speedrunner of these two games since 2020. my finger is perfectly trained, so I don't use any macros

i just bought the game on steam to get version 1.02 and cant figure out how to get it runnning in widescreen, most patches dont work and i cant port my 1.01 patches from the gog version, you seem to be running it in 1920x1080, may i ask what patches you applied?
in the game folder itself there is hitman.ini, open it and next to resolution write '1920x1080' and below write 'window 1', save the changes and that's it
@@Z_ic_K unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work, I got a white screen, but I found an old wiki page containing another patch that should work if I cap my fps, I'm gonna try that. Thanks anyway!
@_fil.sh_ yeah, you need to download 'riva tuner statistics server (RTSS)' to limit fps to 60
