I would reject that car
They will put most things right. Also no history of wet timing belt replacement. This how all main dealers pre the cars including most car supermarket.

Sounds like its had an interesting past. Most cars have had paint and a few dings and dents in their life but I think I'd definitely give this car a miss.
Avoid that vehicle and anyone associated with the repairs and 'preparation'
Excellent knowledge. Not to mention, it sounds like a taxi. Buyers market for these land barges at the moment. Why you'd want one is beyond me, but hey - each to their own. Probably the joy of spending your time in petrol stations.
