Very good saws actually. I have 4 of them. They all run good. Biggest problem why they won't run is they sat in people's garages all through the 80's and 90's and the carb diaphram, gaskets and fuel lines go to shit. Not too hard to work on. Just need moderate patience is all.

I built a 1981 Kx125 frame with an XR210cc bore job with 12.5:1 piston and a midrange cam . It was back in 86 . I used to ride trails like these on Vedder Mountain back then . Look those trails up when you get a chance

That litle thing aint no joke, it rips good.
I have the same 38CC chainsaw. They stuff so much steel wires inside the muffler. With some carbon deposit, the muffler is blocked and the saw would not start. I removed the wires (not the spark arrestor) and drilled more holes. The saw now has more power.
I have a pretty mint condition 81 2 owner...1st owner was the owner of the Honda dealership that Second owner was the mechanic at that dealership and then me. Entire engine was gone through new everything totally rebuilt from the floor up and it tears these new bikes just all to pieces

It was stock jetting but it was too rich for the elevation on the video, just around 4500 feets of elevation

Good question, he's been noodling with a standard chain. Noodling is cutting wood lengthwise so it makes wood shavings like noodles.
