Hope you like this machinima. This is about the historical battle of Campus Mardiensis or Mardia which is located near Edirne a.k.a. Adrianople in the Turkish region presently. This mod features real characters and all credits go to the owners of the mod, the rights of the machinima are to me. Feel free to share your thoughts. I am a history qualified teacher from India and I would really like to know your thoughts. I aim to blend realism and creativity to teach history and learn the context from videogames.
It is the year 316-17 AD. Constantine is fresh from the famous victories on the Milvian Bridge, and as seen here his soldiers do have Chi-Ro on their shields, after the vision from Lord Jesus Christ told him to use this symbol just before the battle of the Milvian Bridge, which Constantine defeated Maxentius. Threats from another Tetrarch of Rome, a Caesar called Licinus due to Constantine's ambition to become Caesar makes him decide to confront his rival who had gathered an army of more than 30,000 men with foederati. Constantine takes his army to meet Licinus in a dense forest grassland near Edirne called Mardia. Outnumbered two to one, Will Constantine win as sole Caesar or will he lose?
