I was incredibly nervous when I attended my first jazz jam session as a drummer, and then years later as a pianist. I didn’t really have a way to “practice” playing in a live jazz situation outside of school combos and ensembles. Sure, I used TH-cam backing tracks, but most of them are computer-generated and don’t “swing” the way a jazz performance should. So, I created this channel as a resource for all jazz enthusiasts, from beginners to seasoned players.

My channel is a library of play-along backing tracks of the many tunes and standards you might encounter during a jazz jam. I’ve personally recorded all the instrumentals - no AI or computer-generated performances allowed here!
