It's in standard C, which is basically standard tuning but two whole tones down C F A# D# G C starting from the lowest string

I do, although is an am77t I don't know if they changed the model number in later versions, And it still kicks ass this thing, I should probably record more with it though

@@mrfootinmouth I lost mine in 2008 and have been searching for another ever since, and I’m sure it’ll find me in time. The man who gifted it to me passed away in 2014. If you ever decide you might part with it, definitely this the comment on the Nessie video and let me know. However, I certainly wouldn’t part with one, so no hard feelings here if you keep it forever 😉

@@mrfootinmouth also I believe the am77t is the model without the bigs y and was advertised as an Am77t NBK (NBK is the colour code). They only made this line for one year in 2006.

@@ManicAU sad to hear you lost yours, and you are right It is one of those guitars I would not part with, it's just too nice and I paid very little for it new, wouldn't know what to replace it with as for the model number I double checked and it indeed it says AM77T NBK in the sticker, I believe the T stands for Tremolo and the NBK is nebula black, I also had an Ibanez SAS36FM which was identical to the SA36FM The numbering might change from one year to the next on the same exact model or based on the place it was made. this one is made in china same as my AF75 BS.

thanks for the comment, I also play for my own enjoyment. As for collaborations, i wouldn't mind to share some ideas back and forth, there's no rush though I tend to work at my own pace (very slowly) as I do this stuff for stress relief mostly and I like to take my time and ponder for days on end as to my next move. for the moment I'll just stay in contact and run ideas and stuff by you if you don't mind. (no need to travel) And yes my sister vouches for you 😅

Thanks man, I've been pushing myself quite a bit in these covers cause i have been stuck at "step dad speed" since the 90s

I got this one in around 2005 and it was a short batch of guitars that got discontinued that same year i think, it is a blue flake finish, all i had to do was shim the neck a little and its been a nice player ever since. despite beeing cheap AF

@@mrfootinmouth Wow! I didn't know they were discontinued so soon after debuting. I am very glad I found this one. I was kind of nervous ordering it online without playing it first, but it's a gamble I won! I'm surprised they discontinued them. In my opinion, it is a very good Gibson copy!

@@jf5150975 it might be a different version since they used to released diffrent versions of V's over the years, some o them cheaper than others, mine is a laminated body, you can catch the multiple layers of wood planks on the side of the body if you place a light in the right angle. Check to see if yours is made the same way

@@mrfootinmouth I see slight diamond shapes in the paint, but only when I catch the reflection of one of my lamps on it. Otherwise, you can't see it at all. You really have to fight to see them. LOL

@@jf5150975 it must be solid wood then probably a 2 or 3 piece body. Most likely a better iteration of the same model.

I gotta tell my twin to stop wearing the same shirt as me all the time, it gets confusing.

Nah man, they are about the same I just like to complicate my life for no good reason Way too many takes for what it is

Thanks, The tuning if a recall is from low to high B F# B E G# C# which is basically drop D but 3 half steps down. As for the gear I´m plugged into a Digitech Rp250 which is connected trough USB to the pc and that`s it, the guitars are a Dean VMNT dave mustaine endgame stock, and a jay turser flying V cheapo guitar with no name pickups. Also I`m recording into Audacity which is as basic as it comes.
