The legal most effective way we do it in Australia is: 1 - tie leader to a large treble hook . 2 - run it up to a swivel with a float sitting about it. 3 - between the swivel and the treble have two free running size 12 hooks. 4 - bait the treble with a good sized dough ball and cast out The mullet swarm onto the dough, it bounces up and down under the float, and the free running hooks (which aren’t baited) jag the mullet. Works every time.

Hola The fisher el carrete que usaste para tu video es excepcional un Shimano Catana 4000 y lo único que hiciste es embarrar de grasa el pobre carrete ese no es un mantenimiento, yo tengo el Catana 100 lo uso en agua salada y los rodamientos se amarran por oxido hay que quitar toda esa oxidación de los engranes y reemplazar los rodamientos de acero por unos cerámicos y "DESARMAR TODO" no superficialmente, el rodamiento que sirve para evitar el retroceso solo lo embarraste de grasa, da pena ver como destruyes un diamante de Shimano, te aseguro que no vas a encontrar otro carrete igual que ese, es magnífico yo tengo hasta la caña Catana que le corresponde al 1000 de 1.8 cm, infórmate y utiliza mejores consumibles no solo grasa de cerdo hay también grasa de silicón que no daña los plásticos y no se oxida como la grasa mineral, saludos y dale bien el mantenimiento para que sea casi eterno ya que todo por servir se acaba jejejeje.

I use a similar fix if the break is in a larger diameter part of the rod. I take the rod pieces, tape them together sideways with one section guides up and the other section guides down. Sand a bevel by placing sandpaper on a flat surface and rubbing the two sections together at an angle to get a beveled joint. When assembled the two pieces fit perfectly. Then, instead of a single wire, I use three pieces of stiff wire from hobby shops that will fit within the rod pieces forming a triangle. Epoxy is put around these just as in this video and on the beveled joint. Slide the pieces together. I then wrap the joint with thread just as putting guides on the rod, coating the thread with epoxy or uv resin. I haven't noticed any discernable difference in rod action and I"ve repaired both spinning rods and fly rods with this method. A single wire works fine in the smaller diameters such as in this video.
