What a surprise, everything went well with the installation!

CONTEXT
The split heat pump that I installed this week is part of a combination: the gasoline generator is still lacking. As you see in the playlist “Micro CHP” that starts with video 75, heat pump, battery, inverter and genset make an A-Team. Efficiency and independence are its main advantages.

This video tells how to get 85% of the energy that is in each litre of gasoline, instead of only 33% like in the generator that is used in the normal way, where the heat is discarded. At least in the winter, that is a shame. In this video specifically, I show how well the heat pump is working when the external unit is installed in the garage, instead of outside in freezing cold, when you really need a reliable and efficient heat source. I also show how I installed my first split and got good results, even if I recommend to refer to videos of professional installers.
Final reason to watch this video and the rest of the playlist (also the next episode where I install the generator as the heat source for this heat pump) is that you have a complete video guide to a unique symphony of technology that you find nowhere. Even a basic theme as Micro CHP (Combined Heat and Power) for DIY is not on TH-cam. At least not that I find.
