The Link Pathway, Havelock to Picton
Took a day trip along the Link Pathway from Havelock to Picton. It was a more challenging ride than I anticipated but a very enjoyable ride with many spots to view the amzing scenery that the sounds has to offer along the way.

Kaiteriteri MTB - great ride with great variation
มุมมอง 135หลายเดือนก่อน
Went on a spur of the moment excursion to the Kaiteriteri MTB park while visting Mapua. What I found was something different than I was expecting in a good way. The ride up to the top on tracks that were well sign posted and generally well presented while at the same time providing plenty of variety. As an older rider, I enjoyed the challenge and the views from the top were great. The ride down...

Coppermine Trail, Nelson, South Island, New Zealand Coppermine Trail day trip on my Specialised Levo SL. A long climb which is rewarded with an exhilarating downhill on the other side. What a fantastic ride! Recorded mainly on GoPro Hero 10 with other shots using DJI Mini SE. Photos taken on iPhone 14

Carters Beach to Cape Foulwind. We did this short leg of the Kawatiri Coastal Trail in Westport in wet conditions hence some of the video is not great. Was an easy ride and I can see that on a good day, it would be an amazing trail to do. Recorded on a GoPro Hero 10 with photos take on iPhone 14.

We rode the West Coast Wilderness Trail from Greymouth to Kumara. This is the first leg of the trail from the start in Greymouth. Nice flat ride following the coast line and then going in land to Kumara. Here is a separate short video of the Kumara Chasm th-cam.com/video/ZoZ7Li2O19s/w-d-xo.html

The Kumara Chasm is a feature of the Greymouth to Kumara leg of the West Wilderness Trail on the South Island of New Zealand. Fantastic swingbridge over a massive chasm not long before the trial hits the gold rush town of Kumara

Club Cariari Golf Course

Cariari Country Club Golf Course in San Jose, Costa Rica. A challenging parklands layout. When we talk about the Cariari Country Club we talk about tradition and history, we must keep in mind that since its inauguration in 1973 world-class events have been held, especially on our golf course. Its designer George Fazio strived and strived to build not only a work of art, but also a legacy which ...
Te Mata Peak down Te Kahika

Nice ride on Te Mata peak down Te Kahika which is an intermediate downhill ride. One place I took the wrong option which was the Xpert route and had to briefly jump off my bike as there was a gap jump. Not for this old fella! Recorded on my iPhone mounted on handlebars so not the best video.
Taupo Great Lakes K2K Loop
มุมมอง 75ปีที่แล้ว
One of the best rides in the Taupo area. Started in Kinloch and rode anti-clockwise to Whangatmata Road and then Otaketake Trai to Kawakawa Bay and back over the hill to Kinloch. My wife and I really enjoyed the variety of the trail through the wetlands and bush. There are some tight switchbacks coming back down the hill towards Kinloch but overall a fantastic grade 3 ride. Highly recommend
How long did it take you?
@@bassrumblings took about 4 hours with stops to take photos etc
Very nice Pathway, lots to look at.
I've uploaded The Mountain Biking Craze song onto youtube .You might like to give it a viewing .Cheers
The MOFFBALLS rode it years ago before e-bikes were available .I recall the downhill of Coppermine was hard on the wrists .Great ride though .Thanks for the memory .
Yes fantastic downhill and one of the best parts. I would ride up it again for the downhill!
Hi keen to know how much battery used if using e-bike ?
If you go hard, like 2 h 15 min fir the 42 km loop it will take 540 wh.
@@ThomasWahlgren thanks Thomas
My ebike is a Levo SL which is not a full ebike. The battery is 320wh battery and the motor is only 30kw. This makes it a lot lighter than a normal ebike at about 16kg. I used about 75% of my battery on this ride, but managed it on the uphill climb as I wanted to make sure I had plenty. I had only used about 50% when I got back out to the road and pumped it up for the 9km ride back to the car park via the road. I hope this is useful.
@@refrug9362Hi, its actually 18.23 kg without pedals so 18.5 kg minimum. Cheers
Thanks all very helpful . I have a giant talon and I think 320 w battery so it looks like if I manage it carefully it should be fine Your video was great thanks!
Just as a matter of interest what size battery do you have on your bike.😁
@@donaldstainburn7035 I have a Specialize Levo SL. It has a 320wh battery
Excellent, looks like a good ride.
It was!
thank you so much for a beautiful video . We are using this to plan our ride. Cheers
Awesome 👌
Nice video 👍
Thanks 👍
Great to view - approx distance?
33km one way.
I ride that path every week from Cambridge all the way through to the other side of Hamilton, and I still enjoyed watching your whole video. Well done.
Great photography...Appreciate your video as considering covering it later this year.😃
Many thanks for the video.
You are welcome!
May you Rest In Peace, Rachael De Jong
Thanks! It is a very useful video for route planning in Porirua for those seeking to avoid Paremata Road (which is simply not safe for cyclists at this point especially in the dark). I agree with a comment above that publishing a gpx route would provide even greater insight!
Here is the link to Komoot for it - www.komoot.com/tour/1127969559?ref=wtd I think you can then download the GPX file from there
Fantastic loop - Would love to have a link to copiable map... Can you offer a guidable trip?
Very nice video
Great!greetings from Finland

Great video. Love the drone footage.

Such a beautiful video of my home Pipiriki where my parents currently live and even if it was a few seconds 🥺 makes me home sick so much. Nice work
Pleased to hear that I am able to bring you that wee bit of home to you. We enjoyed the ride.
