I just went natural again not too long ago. I have 4C hair my hair is course and thick. I cut my hair but I shouldn’t have. I’m thinking it’s going to take awhile to develop my texture cuz only the back has curls and it still has perm.

You can tell ur braids aren’t damaging to ur texture and ur installing gently bc u don’t have a lot of broken Hair at different lengths or splits up the shaft. I feel like when i get knotless with synthetic hair often i have a ton of “popped hair” hair that snapped off either during the braiding process or in the braids from the weight of the braid or rubbing…this is why so many women who take out braids and get it silked out it quickly reverts, and may feel thin, the hair didn’t break at the root, it broke down the shaft. Urs clearly isn’t experiencing any breakage. 10/10!
