Omg I actually sang this song at all-region clinic in middle school!! It was really fun to learn!! That soloist did SO amazing and he’s actually friends with a couple people I’m friends with😍

there are multiple versions of most each are arranged by another director who decides the tempo and the time signature, ive heard slower ones but my director did one thats even faster

Thank you so much for uploading these All-State pieces. I placed 7th chair Alto 1 in this choir and I’m so glad I chose this choir over the band I placed in as this music is just so powerful, and this was one of the most special experiences of my life. Thank you. I still cry listening to this music. There was no better group of amazing people I could have ever hoped for my Senior year.
i got first chair in my ark region and i have auditions for all state in february!! just checking out the other performances. yall sounded amazing i hope it was everything u wanted it to be

Watching this reminded me of the feelings i had that entire week. This is what music is supposed to be. An emotional story told by performers to an audience. We all felt what the song wanted us to and it showed in the performance

as an allstate student in florida, who is getting to have my all state clinician be Tesfa this coming year i am more than excited to work with him.
I was in this choir, and you should be excited. He was amazing.
He was the literal best director I’ve ever had. We talk about him all the time. The time in the choir was like a spiritual renewal

I loved singing this. It was the most emotionally charged performance of my life, and solidified that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
Genuinely. Tesfa is such an incredible clinician as well, he put so much care into every piece that you do. Ten out of 10, I can't wait to work with him again someday
