Every attempt at this has someone running early and the lagging player(s) die to the gloom. Very frustrating. The gloom mechanic just needs to be removed. If anyone has to resurrect during the phases, they generally will never make it back due to the gloom damage either.
I wouldn't outright remove the gloom mechanic but adjust it instead. Maybe actually spawn it during the phase 2 transition instead of at the start to help late joiners and for the last gauntlet give a actual safe spot that people can wait in if they mess up a jump
Yeah haven't even gotten to it in my own progress, but the Helper queue will throw me into it and I've never even seen the first enemy/gate, always spawn in the gloom and lucky if I survive to get over. Also the platforms either lose their physics before they actually vanish or its just a netcode/latency thing (inclined to the latter, since theres lots of other examples where stuff his or doesn't hit that reflects it)

one day we will get a game that is finished and has little to no problems when early access. its undercooked games and lack of testing while stealing everyone's money.. and the under educated players that accepts garbage like this and SETTLES. waiting for a game that just shafted you to comply to wait for a good product.. no wonder companies take advantage of players to scam them. because for most players this is the new trend.. this game looks worse than Wild star. to each its own i guess.
In a ideal world yeah... unfortunately I don't see that happening unless we completely get rid of early access in the industry. Like I said currently the game has a very solid foundation but that's about it. There's still a lot of work to be done and it definitely wasn't anywhere near ready to be released like this. I AM hopeful that it gets fixed for launch but realistically 6 months is nowhere near enough time for this many changes.
@@DencaVTI like the game, but it should have stayed in closed beta, in my opinion. I have been playing games for too long, early access used to mean something else entirely, nowadays it's just a sorry marketing ploy.
Wild you have 80 hours and I get kicked everytime i turn in a quest.
Servers stability is still definitely a big issue that they need to work on , personally I usually only get disconnected once every 3-4 hours

Used my compensation currency on some new fashion for Wingrave and also a 2-handed skin, and still have a little bit leftover!
I was thinking of getting a skin for him but I decided to wait and see if Kyros gets anything cool!

Great you alaborating how much they are willing to improve. too many people get stuck on EA being a full release cause many AAA companies sell their EA's like that.
It's very much understandable that people are upset and they have every right to be! But from what I've seen so far the development team is taking all the feedback to heart, if they keep true to their word then the game will absolutely turn into a gem.
