18:52 the whistle sounds more like a horn!
the T1 is awesome but we know it looks and has great detail I want to hear the chugg because lionchief steam engines have bad chugg sounds that why I do not buy any its sad when lionel says are not they great engines and then do not see a problem with bad chugg sound K-line by lionel basic pacific tender had great rail sounds but did not think hey lets make sure are lionchief steam engines sound this good PS regardless of maker they have not screwed diesel sounds
This is beautiful 😂
Nice 🎉
Great 👍 Caboose train
Is this model compatible with the legacy remote? Even the ones without the sticker?
Nice review of an unusual engine. Love us some C&O on our trainboard. Gary
Awesome!
Just wanted to follow up, since you’ve made this review (about 3 months ago now) I’ve finally found one in good shape at an affordable price and will be adding it to our collection. I referenced your video often for details on this model so thanks again for doing such a great job with this. Looking forward to more of your content!
Thought those passenger cars were gonna take me out! 😅
Ah. Happiness.
There is a beautiful RS-11 working for the Napa Valley Wine Train! That also is a model I’m wanting to get.
Quite the consist! Looks great 👍
12:40 (pause it) I have the exact train car The SCL
I also noticed atlas is hard to come by
Hopefully, with the new mutual agreement btween mth and atlas o, we'll see more atlas o stuff. Mth will do the engines with dcs, atlas the cars. Best of both worlds without lionel crazy prices. We love atlas o on our trainboard. Gary
I had to get an atlas engine I have a NYC GP 7 Yours is very nice Where did you get it from?
The answer to your last question is in the description
Neat diesel friend.
Cool
I’ve been eyeing this engine for awhile. LionMaster engines have worked well on my smaller layout with tighter turns. Great to see your review on this and you might’ve pushed me over the edge to get one. Thanks for the informative review!
Thanks for the video! I picked up this same engine last year and would like to know what you did with the ERR Cruise control as mine has the same issue. Thanks!
It’s actually pretty simple, once you nail down which set of instructions is correct. First, I’d recommend finding the instructions for the ERR board with all of the example boards. There’s also a great post on the OGR forum from a while back that discusses the ERR installation for this exact engine. You just need to swap the six-plug power plug for the new 4-plug one (I believe), pull out one of the auxiliary plugs and leave it, remove a ground wire, then trace through/solder some connections once the board is in. Make sure you take the time to really explore everything and feel 100% confident before you start!
@@ModelworkTrains Thanks for the info!
Awesome engine, can't wait until they finish building the one they're fabricating currently. Thanks for the info! Had no idea C&O was courting this concept.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Great engine. The old TMCC LionMaster engines don't get enough love.
I agree! These engines have such great detail and are often quite affordable - I saw quite a few of these changing hands at York this April!
Awesome 🚂👍🚃
Nice. Just purchased the C&O yesterday at a local shop- they're performing some minor maintenance on the smoke unit before I collect it. Love the K-Line steamers!
I know, right? They have such great detail for the size!
