And 3 years later I'm remembering when I sat there and watched this when it first dropped on Disney Plus and I'm totally enjoying this lady's reaction as a perfect example of our generation. Star Wars transcends time and really gets to our hearts. I'm so happy right now. Great video!
Regardless of how we live, Jesus lived and walked perfectly for us (1 Peter 1;17-20), we are imputed his righteousness. (Romans 4:22-25) He died a gruesome death on the cross to redeem us. (1 Corinthians 15 1-4) we are given the free gift of salvation through God's grace (Ephesians 2:8-9), given eternal joy (not just temporary happiness) true BLISS, fellowship with God, (ISAIAH 52:11, better understanding of his creation (Ephesians 2:6-7) and freely rewarded with the kingdom of God. (Galatians 3:17-29) Through Jesus alone, (Rev 1:6) we gain the inheritance promised to the seed of Abraham by God not by any work we do.(Romans 4:4-8) Rejoice and rest in the messiah live your life by faith, by liberation of the law( 2nd Corinthians 5:7) GOD BLESS!
My Dad and I were going NUTS with this episode. We were BOTH like, “That’s gotta be Luke, that’s TOTALLY LUKE!” Green lightsaber shows up, we both went, “It IS LUKE! THAT’S Luke freaking SKYWALKER!” Then, R2-D2 shows up, “OH SHOOT! R2!?!”
I was in denial just as you in the beginning. Once the Xwing was revealed, but I couldn't believe Disney would pull that move and guarded my feelings. But, once the cloak came, the single saber, the green, the glove--it had to be true.
This is all they needed to do for the sequels, this reverence, story telling, and simple respect to the characters, and people would have lined up around the block again to enjoy them over and over again. Thank you for sharing your joy with the many actual Star Wars fans out there, you are in good company!
So why the fuck doesn't Disney Parks have ROTJ Luke encounters? Like why? The amount of money they would have to pay George Lucas pales in comparison to the number of OG fans that would buy a ticket to take their picture with ROTJ Luke! But no!! All we get is Chewy, Kylo Ren, and Rey. Blegh!!
I only found this particular reaction now but this is far and above my favorite of them all! We are seeing something priceless and magical here. Im so happy that this filled your soul with happiness. Absolutely loved this reaction. Lmao i knew R2 was gonna be the thing to set her over the edge. As a gen-x’er it did the same for me. There’s no way to convey the feeling and nostalgia felt by it. I mean here I am years later still getting teary eyed watching reactions to it, of course right after seeing Ahsoka and Anakin in the world between worlds.
I know I am not really old 33 but when she asked what is CGI? Then she went back watching it I felt what she was feeling when I was a kid watching star wars for the first time. It is really amazing how feeling can be shown and seeing them you understand what they are feeling. seeing her go back into time to when she was a young girl and how she felt . I was about 7 or 8 damn about 25 years ago 😅😅 first time watching star wars Then about 15 years old when I watched the first 3 fully. Thanks for this video 509K
What's with you people call these actors your god, "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD"!! Claim you don't believe in God , yet call out to your fake pretend gods. And when the real one shows uo. Are you going to call out to you pretend gods to protect you from being cast into hell? Snap out of it, before becoming the next person(s) to go into a school, church, shopping center, or event. And start shooting up the place. Get a grip on reality. These actors are not your god.
There's never going to be another series like Star Wars. It has spanned across many generations binding us all together, we all have this in common no matter what generation we're apart of. This episode was like an hour long roller coaster ride, but for our emotions.
In my opinion, as much as I love the Mandalorian, I think the show should’ve ended at Season 2. It served its purpose to open up for more stories, especially ending an arc with Mando completing his mission to get Grogu to his own kind. It was the perfect ending, and Season 3 couldn’t even touch the level of a finale this one was, or even capture the raw emotions everyone got from it. This was a moment for everyone that loved Star Wars.
Love your Mom .. I’m from Peru , my parents pass away , when was a little girl and they loved Star Wars.. thanks 🙏 for this video from the button of my heart.. and I’ll hope that the video can been see by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni .. This is the way ..!
You do not know how many times I return to watch this video of your Mom - and I cry every time! I LOVE IT. I don't care how much Disney screws up the timeline and tries to change the original characters --- this video shows the true attachment die-hard fans have for this Universe and it's heros and villians - the love for the original series story and themes and values represented. I cannot thank you enough for posting. (I was 27 when the original movie came out - my son was 8 - and we bonded over Star Wars like you would not believe!) Thank you again, and your Mom is a jewel!
For the mom…… CGI is Computer Generated Imaging. The actor for this scene, Sabastian Shaw is almost a genetic clone of a younger Mark Hamill
Cinema!!!
Just saw this for the first time for some reason, but make sure to tell your mom that I love her! ❤
I sue the same reaction. Since I was 5 this story has been a part of my life. I lost it too and when I heard R2 had to bury my face on a throw pillow.
0:29 😂
This scene saved Star wars.

"Luke Skywalker was EVERYTHING! That just brought back my childhood." - Mom summed it perfectly for a whole generation.👏
"It's not Luke Skywalker, its not like they're going to save anything" 😃
The best reaction ever. I cried with her..
So adorable how she turned back into a teenager for a few minutes there. I need to get my mom watching this reveal
my dad was a huge star wars fan and he passed away 3 days before this came out, i really felt he was there with us when we were watching it

Es cine 🚬
smoking kills
Top tier 😂
I still love this reaction this makes me feel like a kid again
01:40 "wait wait wait...😮" That's the exact moment when the hope exploted from her heart to all the body 🤩
Forever young
Jon Favreau paid the ultimate price for this "make right" of Luke Skywalker. This finale did not sit well with a lot of high-ups at Lucasfilm.

Omg. Sooooo love this. I kept saying the same thing as your mom 😂

Holy fuckballs.

This woman has nothing to be embarrassed about. We all felt it. For *one last moment,* the Star Wars community came together as one.
Get her cigerette out damn it
Great reaction! so pure love it

Two words:Holy Fuckballs.
It's so hard to explain what this means to people like me at age 50. 😢
Your mom look like elon musk in the miniature... 😅
