@@rufusyoungblood9274 a red cat vigilante is exactly what I wanted to buy for no reason other than the looks and the fact that it’s a pretty decent basher, but unfortunately, we had two of our red cat dealers here in Arizona recently closed and I have zero clue where there is one locally and I was looking to get it right on the spot. I really didn’t want to have to order and wait for it to be delivered. Unfortunately, I’m a impatient bastard lol

I actually ended up dumping a few bucks into it. I figure I’ll keep it for a few weeks here in Arizona. It’s difficult to sell on OfferUp and Facebook marketplace. Get a lot of dirt bags in the RC community unfortunately so makes it difficult to sell, but I ended up putting in those shock mounts aluminum ones from Amazon I put on the wide max kit And bought some 1.400 rate springs for the front and then went ahead and picked up a hobby wing G2 160 amp ESC for my 2250 KV motor it rips now and doesn’t just hug the ground on the front anymore but kind of like you just super annoyed that I even had to dump money into it pretty much straight out of the box I realistically feel like I’m just driving a 6S slash and not a Maxx slash. Very disappointed in it definitely not something I’m keeping long-term.

@@ryanrodriguez70 right lol that’s another thing that absolutely sucks. Is Traxxas service department? I already replaced all of the issues but I shouldn’t have to dump $400 into what realistically should be a $300 car.

I’m trying to keep it up lol I was doing full sins this day for about four straight hours. The only thing that broke was a stripped pinion gear lol.

Thank you my friend. I have since moved on two different electronics. I’m currently running the max five GEN two with the 1100 KV motor as a combo. Not happy with that at all waiting on a castle ESC to be returned from warranty work then I will be running that with a one 800 KV motorfrom hobby wing, it’s definitely a lot of fun and you’re right there’s nothing better than landing and just blasting away for another. Send.

Yes I believe I was on the throttle actually this morning I just ordered the M2C overkill driveshafts Figured I’ll just upgrade them just not handling the extreme bash very well with the stock drive shafts

@@painkillerrc7718 I saw they had the best cake ones and then the 8 mm overkill ones I decided to just go all out and get the overkill drive shafts

@@painkillerrc7718 so I’ve had the overkill driveshaft for a few days now I’m super stoked and happy with them I’ve broken no rear driveshafts I purposely landed on throttle multiple times I purposely landed on each back corner tires on purpose I’ve even wedged a rock between the lower control arm and the driveshaft on purpose and they do not break they do not bend I’m very happy with them

Thank you my friend I had to order new spool/pinion gear yesterday I ended up stripping a few teeth off the gears
