Former employee here, I worked for rainer cooney for about 2 years. greasy business practices and advantageous tendencies are likely what lead to the failure of this project. sucks to suck. thanks for teaching me how to run a mill, lathe, welder, and most importantly realize how valuable my time is and not to spend it working for an advantageous dreamer of a man.
Good video, Gordon!
Seriously an amazing project and amazing project management. Well done... Id like to see a lot more content showing this projects progression. : )
if you only knew the whole story.
Pretty sure I bought a 3000gt from this guy in the mountains of Colorado.
This guys whicked pissa at makin cah pahts!
This video is giving me seizures. Geeze
Nice Massachusetts Accent!!!! Kar, Arrch… Barr .
Dang.. Could have watched that all day! Wow what a project, a 550 from the ground up, excellent!
what a legend, keeping his craft alive, !!
Nice VW. LOL Ruger does steel investment casting for other companies. I love the wood buck.
The wooden bucks are a work of art in themselves
Jesus Chroist....his buck looks like a work of art!
it was CNC milled, 90% of the work was done by his employees that weren't sufficiently compensated.
This guy is awesome. This is some hard shit to do. And I like how he's describing his process professionally yet at the same time like a mechanic. Instead of just saying "there's a dimple in there" he says "there's a stupid dimple in there" and "they used good shit".
I beg to differ, i worked for him for 2 years.
Why did TH-cam get rid of the Like Button?
Strength in triangles. Even Pythagorus knew that. Coupled with quality materials....ahhh, now we're getting modern.
Your camera work is atrocious
I watched the video of his open house, which was great, and I recall he had a 5 year plan to finish one of the cars. Is this that car? Outstanding attention to detail and incredible level of craftsmanship! I’d love to see another video showing some of the details of the car.
laughs in underpaid former employee. hahahahahahahaha
put the camera on a tripod
Is this company still in operation?
Yes, in Barnsted, NH
How do I get ahold of you ?
I doubt it, I'm sure he's just squeezing as much money out of 911s and 356s as he can.
someone please tell the name of the harmonica song.
What a BEAST of a Speedster! I bet that's LOL fun to drive. =D
Thanks Gord that's very kind of you. Bucks used to certify shape rather than beating shape into metal by using buck as an anvil?
Never use the buck as an anvil! Only use it as a guise. th-cam.com/video/nYqXbETBh8w/w-d-xo.html
I visited the Morgan factory recently and most of their panels are beaten over hardwood forms…
Any film of you hammer forming in wooden bucks? I've not seen it done
I don't have any, but try searching for "wray schelin pro shapers" - He's doing that kind of stuff all the time.

Yes, that’s how they do it in the Morgan factory.
Sadly, this 'project' fell flat on its face!
Wow, amazing. Truly inspiring what you can achieve.
NOTHING WAS ACHEIVED. EXCEPT SPENDING MONEY.
yep, former employee here. hes a greasy guy and seriously took advantage of myself and others through the duration of this dream project.@@michaelkelly3221
Incredible that you produce this auto.
Magnifique machine !❤️
Scrolling text is really annoying!
Does anyone have a contact for this guy?
Address: 20 Pitman Rd, Barnstead, NH 03225 Phone: (603) 509-2225
Good God! Even I would be scared to drive that.
lol...............dude, I'm so jealous.
Wow and the grand total is. ??????
Less than a real 911, and more fun.
What's happened?
Project failed. As a former employee I'm glad to see that result due to how he treats others.
Wonderful, can't wait to see the rest!
That must be one fast bathtub, my dad owned a real one and had an Intermeccanica in the 80's.
