If you paid for the shipping from the UK, it might be worth taking the company to a small claims court. You could also call the Financial Ombudsman for some advice. As long as you have proof of payment and evidence that you haven't received your goods, you should have a case. These people are just so heartless they forget we work hard for our things.

The reason for that is the huge diaspora- some 8 million jamaican live abroad, they are the ones that keep the market up.

I think the gate is temporary they will change it once the house is finished. I personally like the brick work I love traditional houses on the exterior and modern in the interior. I think some of these new modern houses in Jamaica look rushed and tacky. The brick work is going to make the house look expensive.

You think I’m taking away resources from Jamaica? What resources, exactly? Sounds like some bad mind to me! I’ve been coming to Jamaica for over 20 years-long before it was a trend. I contribute to the economy by buying property and paying all the necessary fees to government entities that employ local Jamaicans. Telling me to go elsewhere is like telling all Jamaicans who migrated abroad to return home. I’m actually supporting Jamaican descendants and the community by employing local people. What do you really know about me? Poverty in Jamaica will continue as long as the country is run by a corrupt government-that has nothing to do with me or anyone else trying to come back and invest. And by the way, my husband was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. I mentioned white people because people like you are quick to give them a pass, while attacking hardworking people with real ties to Jamaica. Self-hatred is a sad thing. I’m not the problem here-you’re going after the wrong person. I love Jamaica and its people, and my kids, who are of Jamaican descent, will enjoy their father’s country. So, what’s really your problem? Don’t come for someone like me, who’s willing to show you how the other half lives. Go after the gatekeepers-the ones who perpetuate poverty and never show us the way out!

Me doing well in Jamaica benefits my half Jamaican family and my local Jamaican employees. Why are you coming for someone who’s showing Jamaicans & the diaspora what we’re all capable of achieving. @@keeturbo You have no idea what you’re talking about! I've had plenty of people tell me this area is known for Jamaica’s old money-even the real estate agent who sold me my house mentioned it. It's one of the places where wealthy Jamaicans bought property back in the day, and it’s known for having some big-time drug lords living here. You're making assumptions without knowing the full story. I didn’t show you the entire community or drive near my house-for safety reasons! Unless you live here or are visiting someone you know, people don’t usually drive up here. Did you see any other cars on the road while I was driving? You’re too quick to comment-I did my research because I live in this community.

This part of Runaway Bay is known for being a second home for the rich, from a long time ago. If you don’t know just say you don’t know. Rich people in Jamaica live all over. She’s telling the truth.

I’m literally crying I know is summer and we were at home for the summer holidays. However that’s day light robbery from JPS. I’m definitely looking to get solar panels installed. ASAP! The people have full air conditioning going all day. JPS is pulling the same thing Cable and Wireless did to Jamaicans. These companies rob us to pay their retiree investors in dividends payment in the US , Korea, Japan ,England.(its a different form or slavery) checked amazon and you can get an off grid system starting at $6,000 where you can add on. @@sil1938 all I can say is you will soon see whats happening. Its a sales trick. They keep a set of units offline and say they are sold out and then they try to bring them back online a couple months after at a higher price. It was working well in the pandemic because there was crazy demand from overseas. Alot of developments are not selling out right now.

I live in Canada and Jamaica and own my home there . You need to spend time on the island and get a feel for the culture as it’s very different from ur home . Crime is a big problem and a gated community might work for you . Good luck.

Nothings is wrong the the resort this is my 3rd there just came back June 10th-19th. You can request a crib for the baby also request the renovated room. (17403/17406) those are the 2 rooms my family and stayed but mostly the 1700s rooms are renovated! Have a wonderful time there I did!

@@bevbevan1698 Hi, it was all down to personal preference. I didn’t like the fact that the room looked dated and there was an issue with that particular bathroom. The renovated side was good enough for me. Again it’s personal preference. The hotel itself is nice, I don’t like the big buffet restaurant on the main building. However you have options when it comes to places to eat. Nevertheless we had a good time. The hotel was okay for us to spend 3 days. You should be fine with baby and young children.
