While I highly doubt there will be any kind of uprising, Kenon, it's certain that the public will want clarification on what implications this reclassification holds for our park. While being designated as a "memorial" might limit some of the funding the ARa can receive, how can we be certain that being labeled as a "park" won't similarly restrict funding available for memorials?

A quick Google search reveals grants available from DHS, USDOT, USDA, DOJ, and a few other alphabet agencies I've never heard of. Walmart even has a program that specifically buys police vehicles for communities.

It wasn't that long ago that not every deputy had a take-home vehicle it was a privilege earned not simply handed out. A Henry County deputy should complete 48 months of exemplary service before receiving the privilege of a take-home vehicle.
