@nemenek Fair, but if we follow that logic, then everyone from like gold down would end up as a diamond. Because they'll only ever play other gold players and if they find any way to improve their game and get better than their fellow golds, they'll fly through the ranks. I don't know if 2.0 has a system in place for that where after you pass up your hidden rank then it adjusts you to go against that new rank, but if that doesn't exist golds and under would have the easiest time ranking up.

@ you gain much less and lose much more when youre higher than your hidden rank. You do play harder people but since youre just startting your season out youre playing people from your hidden rank. Rank 2.0 diluted the skill of higher ranks thats why such garbage players make it higher than they should sometimes

Agreed 😂 I’m in diamond almost champ on my main tryna rank my gfs acct up she’s in bronze and man I’m like 12-4 every game and we still lose some makes no sense almost out of it in a day of playing though up 300rp

I have bad internet and the last time I tried playing, I kept getting kicked from the server for poor connection and went MIA so I figured it just wasn't worth it.

@@LiftUpYourEyes That's actually the plan in the event this doesn't work out as a way to sustain myself financially. I don't plan on giving up on this entirely but I may slow down, especially if it's concrete work because that's gonna wear me out, haha.

@@aermix7794 Nah, you can do it in REAL tarkov as well with maxed out search.

@@Contension Being able to search the rig and pockets at the same time is unlocked when you max out the searching skill. The instant search is from maxing out the intelligence skill. The flea market prices are from a mod and it's linked down in the description. Hope that helps.

@@aermix7794 People actually call them both different things to kind of help avoid confusion. SPT is the mod and PVE is the official release by BSG.

@@robb5828 Yeah, I think it's because I made this account in 3.8 and ported it to 3.9 so I think that broke painter, but yeah. He's never had anything I can buy, but he has quests and stuff.

@@APPLZUICE Yea I wasn’t too concerned when it came to actually playing it, it was mainly the fact that BSG could possibly ban you if they see other clips or videos of you on their live servers, so i’d have to go through and delete like every clip/video or make a separate youtube/twitch account just for spt 😭

@@Thrillzorz That's fair. Having said that, I haven't even attempted to launch the live server yet, so I'm curious about that.

Well cons of SPT is kind of a short list, it's behind an update and it requires a pretty good machine to run. Pros are you get mod support, so it can be easier or harder depending on how you want it to be. There's totally custom things you can add like a minimap, custom traders, custom weapons, mods that change the way the game plays as a whole like SAIN or the realism mod. For the last thing, it's not even close to PVP. There's no latency, or cheaters, but you can always tell you're playing a bot. That being said, there are settings and mods made to make the AI feel a lot more player like.

I'm still new to tarkov so I wanted to learn all the maps and stuff without the other crazy players or raiders punishing me for not knowing where the gold pocket watch is while they're across the map 1 tapping me

@@toastytoast6769 That's what got me into SPT. That and I don't have a ton of time to grind out all the skills and hideout and all that. It's a great way to learn quests and map layouts, gun skill and healing items. The downside is it doesn't prepare you for real gunfights/PVP.

SPT and Live plays on a completely different server, while Live use BSG's server, SPT uses your PC to run a server, they never interact with each other no matter how much copium Nikita have

Good question, but no. I'm playing SPT, which is just BSG's PVE mode, but it's a mod that was around way before BSG's PVE. It has mod support and you can't get banned because it's all local ran (so just on my pc). That being said, I use a mod that makes the flea prices match the live flea prices instead of an algorithm deciding what's valuable or not. (I don't know how vanilla SPT determines Flea prices, but however it does, this mod makes it like the live flea)

Thank you for the kind words. I definitely think there's channels out there that make way way better content that don't get much traction even though they definitely deserve it, but it's all a game of whether the Algorithm smiles on you or not, haha.

Welcome back. I'm not familiar with the irl stats of ammo, but that's interesting to me. I would think it'd be better at armor penetration because, of what little I know, small rounds traveling very quickly is what you want to get through armor. But I definitely appreciate you teaching me about the real counterparts to the in game ammo.

​@@APPLZUICE Not sure if you mean pistols or .300 BLK but both are going much slower than something like 5.56 or pretty much any other conventional rifle rounds. .300 BLK is designed to go subsonic, it's fat and heavy, and even supersonic loads aren't going that fast. Pistol rounds for the most part aren't small, like 9mm and .45 (11mms) vs. 5.56, 5.45, 7.62. Small and fast is only good for penetration if there's enough mass and energy behind it, and depending on the armor material. I could go on about it by I'll stop yapping lol

In my opinion, SPT is far better because there's mod support. You can change how fast/slow you level skills or just exp gain in general. There's mods that add totally custom weapons and traders. There's a few mods that you can use together to make the bots a lot better (Both the "PMCs" and scavs/raiders/bosses/etc). Stuff like that.

@@LiftUpYourEyes Well those are just the down sides. Up sides are the SPEAR has ambidextrous controls, it's more accurate, carries more energy, and, according to everything I can find online, is actually more ergonomic. I do know the spear is thicker because the 6.8 round produces much higher chamber pressure.

from what ive seen the US marine corp is very happy with it, they see the higher penetration and lethality to outweigh the downsides and if they say its better, its better.

US Marine here. first of all the Sig spear has only been adopted but the us army. The main benefit is the ergonomics and the sight on it is equipped with a certain type of zoom system that makes it so you don’t need to hold your recital in different points of your target depending on the magnification it is sitting at. Some of them even have thermal capabilities too, the Marines standard issue rifle given to infantry units is the M27 IAR service rifle by H&K, chambered in 5.56 still, but with fully automatic capabilities unlike the m4/m16. In my opinion the M27 is far more superior to any other AR style rifle, especially with the SCOs (Squad Common Optic) making it extremely easy to frag targets of varying distances in quick succession. The only downside to it in that there is alot of scope shadow when fully zoomed in, so it’s vital that after engaging a target you put it back to 1x zoom
