Most immunity challenges are more suited to people built like Courtney than james, especially back in the 10s. Most of the challenges required balance, not strength. James was not an acrobat lmao. He was always dominant in tribal challenges tho, cause those are more strength based

Yau man was a comp beast on Fiji. Was always in the running to win and the wins he had were dominant. Won multiple rewards as well as the immunity and was a big part in tribal challenges. He was very proficient with creating a strategy instead of just brute forcing it.

Oh, and additionally, hatch wasn’t even 40 when he was in Borneo, wouldn’t call that old.

@@hannahmckernan185 for some reason when I saw Rudy my brain defaulted to rich right after and I read rich instead of bob. My bad. In terms of bob, he was also an immunity beast on Gabon, but it was mostly because in the final 8 and even final 9, he was legitimately one of the most fit ppl there. Matty was his only real comp for physical challenges, and suzie was his only comp for mental ones. Sugar couldn’t win anything to save her life, neither could Kenny, crystal is literally a meme for how bad she was at challenges, and Corinne and randy weren’t good either. Even Charlie wasn’t a challenge threat. All the challenge threats went out right before the merge, namely ace and Marcus. Just left bob

I know these people were challenge beasts but I'm just saying its impressive they pulled it of at their age.

She was actually close at final 7 by making to the final round in peril islands of the word scramble competition that darrah won. Interestingly enough, twas also at final 7 that Sandra got the closest to winning immunity when she got through the first round in a table maze... flopped on the wall climb though lol

Yeah, that’s kinda the point, most of these ppl are super proficient in challenges. Like Palau had only 2 ppl who won all of the immunities between them if u don’t count Jolanda at the beginning, which I don’t. That is 7 immunity challenges divided between 2 ppl. U do the math lmao

Technically 9 Sandra and Tony both won twice. Sandra never won one and Tony only won them in WaW. Also that makes wins more impressive if your always up to be voted out but never did

Unfortunately Richard Hatch will probably never be on Survivor again. He was supposed to be back for Heroes vs Villains, on the villains tribe. But his tax evasion legal issues prevented that from happening. I think fans expected to see him on Winners At War but given sexual harassment issues that surrounded Island of the Idols and the controversy surrounding Richard and Sue Hawk from back in All Stars, the producers decided that Richard was too much of a lightning rod for controversy and left him out. At this point, i think Richard is damaged goods. Survivor will never bring him back, which is too bad. If there's one old school player that can probably adapt to the new form of frenetic game play, that's Richard. But its never gonna happen now.

And regarding Brian Heidik, never gonna happen. I posted the reasons why earlier on this thread. Brian is for all intent and purposes banned from Survivor. I think if the producers could erase him from the winners circle somehow, they would. That's how much Probst hates him, and rightfully so.

Brian will never return
