The Rossignol Forza 60° V-TI Skis are designed for an exhilarating and high-performance skiing experience, particularly on hard snow conditions.
Construction:
Layered with strong titanal: Titanal is known for its strength and ability to optimize dampness and stability.
Reinforced with durable materials: This enhances the skis' resilience, making them capable of withstanding wear and tear.
Intended Use:
Meant for digging deep and ripping corduroy: The design suggests that these skis are well-suited for making precise and aggressive turns on groomed slopes.
SPX 12 Konect GW Bindings:
Compatibility:
GW (GripWalk) Bindings: These bindings are likely compatible with both traditional alpine boot soles and the newer GripWalk soles, offering versatility in boot compatibility.
Integration:
Konect System: This suggests an integrated binding system that's designed to work seamlessly with the skis, possibly enhancing power transfer and overall performance.
Forza Series:
Performance Focus:
Meant to ride fast and hard: The emphasis on speed and aggressiveness implies that these skis are tailored for skiers who enjoy pushing their limits on the slopes.
Embracing love for hard snow: The skis are specifically designed for enthusiasts who appreciate challenging and firm snow conditions.
Overall, this setup seems well-suited for skiers who want to embrace the thrill of high-speed skiing on groomed, hard-packed snow. The combination of strong titanal, reinforced construction, and an integrated binding system indicates a commitment to providing a powerful and responsive skiing experience. If you love carving precise turns on hard snow, the Forza 60° V-TI Skis + SPX 12 Konect GW Bindings could be an exciting choice for you.
RTT (Reinforced Torsion Tip), V-TITANAL, and LCT Technology. Let me summarize each of them:
RTT (Reinforced Torsion Tip):
Purpose: Adapted and dimensioned for modern skis with extremely wide tips (130mm or wider).
Objective: To maintain precision and total engagement in skiing.
Technology Features:
Reinforces the lateral deformation of the front of the ski.
Uses a "tie" shape of the Titanal layer embedded in the built-in part of the tips.
Enhances cohesion and power transfer.
V-TITANAL:
Purpose: Aims to achieve perfect ski balance, especially in rugged conditions.
Objective: Maintaining the right line in challenging terrains.
Technology Features:
Utilizes a "V" shape in the new V-TITANAL layer.
Optimizes dampness and stability.
The groove along the sheet ensures stiffer longitudinal bending.
Stamping generates a phenomenon of mechanical anisotropy.
LCT Technology:
Origin: Evolved from World Cup racing innovation.
Objective: Delivers pure power and energy, ensuring fluid stability in all skiing conditions.
Technology Features:
Features a central "power rail" integrated from tip-to-tail.
Eliminates counter-flexing of the ski.
Ensures consistently smooth stability.
Provides dynamic control of the skier's line.
These technologies collectively aim to enhance the skiing experience by addressing specific challenges related to wide tips, balance in rugged conditions, and stability in various skiing scenarios. The integration of materials like Titanal and innovative construction methods contributes to improved performance on the slopes.

(Or lack thereof). In this lengthy, admittedly dry video, JF addresses comments that a few folks have made regarding the apparent lack of ski footage from our ski test reviews. And proceeds to present our main ski testers, while continuing the unacceptable practice of showing zero ski footage. Maybe one day we'll stoop to putting out POV footage of us skiing but until such time please go check ...

Thanks for this review. First time ski buyer and REI had these for half off. Was a little concerned at first about the width being that I'm based in New England but you guys have put me much more at ease. Excited for this upcoming season!
Hi, would you recommend BCh 100 2025 + shift 13 bindings as an ubiversal ski for slope and one day touring?
How much different is this from a qst106?
I suppose my only question is- how do we think this ski would perform in true off-piste conditions? tough to know when that isn't available on the conditions of the day.
Wow, what a great review! So many perspectives from different skier types, and open thoughts. This is very helpful, I look forward to checking out more of your reviews.
Whoever decides to place a white or light silver top sheet on a ski has never fell in powder.... I have this ski from a few years ago with a blue top sheet
Do you guys have a shop in banff? I’m going to be there next year and it would be cool to demo from you
I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on the WRT ST!
Good review thx! Have ordered the 2023 model
That’s the most lame review i’ve heard yet on the BLADE:(. This ski is AMAZING! Wout skiing footage you CANNOT convey this message @ all!
I've been watching this video since it initially came out... This whole time I didn't know it was on a chair lift that I used to have to take to work every day 🤯🤯🤯
Impressive quiver skis
Great point! Thank you!
Great info👍
I watched this video before and I have been thinking about it.. I have multiple pairs of skis that have demo bindings that are lifted.. I also have my 25+ year old race skis that have spacers.. Actually, out of my 10 pairs of skis, I only have 2 pairs that are flat to the ski.. One is 99 under foot and that slides all over the place.. My Stormrider 105s really slice the carve when I roll the edge over.. I am not sure what a spacer would do on these skis.. I am 5'9 so I am not sure if I am in the short category... I am still thinking about all of this...
The 2024 model has dark gray on the top sheet near the binding mount area, whereas these appear all white. What model year are these? 2022?
Persevered for 3 minutes, then had to pause. First comment… I want the last 3 minutes of my life back. Second comment… goofy. Third comment… home made amateur channel. I pray it never shows up in my feed again. Please stop making these.
Was he trying to land on the chair?
Appreciate your video...just purchased Enforcer 100s with Griffon binding, took some getting used to on groomers. Can you recommend spacers for Griffon bindings? Thanks
He's coming around the corner and he's looking good.
Lets GO VANDALS...!!
If he rotated the other way he would of landed it nicely 😂
Is he alive
No unfortunately as he landed a great white came outta the ice :(
Yes. Only a few bruises actually. But he did cancel the competition he was to participate in the next day.
Ayo who put that chair there?!
🤪🤣
It’s on sale directly from Line Skis.
😂😂😂😂😂 Hope he’s alright but damn this commentary is on point. Flat 5 to chairlift
Lol it's commentary for another video but still funny
@@jorgechavez7211oh I know it’s just absolutely perfect though. I forgot about this and just clicked on it again and started cracking up. 😂😂😂
Almost had the greatest ski clip of all time but instead looks like an idiot
Thank you for this video! I have the previous ski (MX99) and have been trying to figure out why more people don’t talk about these. They’re considered a bit niche - fat carver? Why? - but I can’t imagine better for a full day of skiing, focused on groomers, on the west coast. One of the other commenters mentioned how these turn anything into a race course. On the west coast, where ice is rare especially after 10am, it’s so true. If I were on really firm bulletproof ice, sure, I’d want something narrower for being quicker edge to edge with more torsional stiffness. But here, it’s not ice I have to deal with, it’s that the groomers get soft by like 10-11am. Narrower skis don’t plow through and smooth out choppy snow as well as fatter skis. These cut through all conditions like butter. At Palisades/Alpine I notice ski patrol staring at me. One actually pulled me aside to say “I need to pull your pass … … For having too much fun!!!” Your reviewers hit it. You need to be strong and know how to ski these correctly. I’m still learning (not a racer or instructor) and they’re teaching me to be better. If you do it right, you bring that focus, commitment, and yes…anger…WOW do they reward you! I’m still curious to own a narrower, tighter turning ski someday, like 72mm, for if I find myself on truly firmer conditions. But having tried a lot of other well regarded frontside oriented skis (though not true race skis) like the MX84, Deacon, Mantra, i.Titan, Wingman 84 CTi…no interest in them anymore, now that I own these and know how to use them. I do also have the FX 106 HP for days when I feel more like off piste. Both skis can go to both places but the MX99 brings markedly more power, stability, and edge while being way more work and punishment for bad technique off piste, while the FX106 HP is still a super fun and very sharp carver while being significantly looser and floatier off piste.
I really want the MX but in a narrower waist, probably 75. I currently ski the FX94, love these an push them to the limit. Sometimes just letting gravity do its thing and let them rip on groomers. At the top end they get a little unstable. The only skis I never found the top end of control were my Kastle RX National Teams. Hopefully the MX will be close to those.
I have the FX 106 HP and the old MX99 (previous model, I think heavier). FX in 184, MX in 176. Both are sharp, energetic, and precise. But the MX99 has another level of smoothness, especially at speed. The FX holds an edge and is stable but I can feel the terrain and imperfections under it, especially at speed. Doesn’t bother me but it’s there. The MX is silk, edges always dug in and cutting smoothly through.
Одолжите лыж покататься! Не жлобитесь) Я вам лайк поставил!
MX99 is my crud, powder, resort ski. Park City 43 years.
Completely irrelevant to the discussion, but I have the exact same jacket (Scott Vertic 3) in the same colour hahaha; it's a great jacket.
I'm looking at a used pair of 112's for back country.
Nice review thank you. Any other skis this can compare with (other brands) - competitors ?
I love how she says, she would let the skis give it to her all day, and she would take it😅
These are so amazingg. Love the Blaze 94! If you ride these at full boar, they will reciprocate!
What is a good binding for these skis?
What an awesome presentation with the age range and their impressions. I think I’m sold on the M6⛷️
great tune..
Last season I was on my 2016 Stormrider 88s one day and there is a great story behind that but after I was done skiing I noticed a gash along my edge that was at least 15 inches long.. I thought I was going to have dig them a shallow grave.. I did get them fixed and they still work great.. They hold an amazing edge.. As a racer I am trying to learn how to pivot or do the skidded turns.. I am pretty good at doing it with my 2019 Stormrider 105s.. Normally when I get to slow areas around a lot of people I just snowplow.. Last season I demoed some Stormrider 95s and before I even got on snow I realized they were blown out at the heal.. When I returned them they had another pair of 95s that were blown out at the heal and a pair of 88s that were blown out at the heal.. I did talk to someone who had a pair of 102s that were blown out at the heal.. Did they fix that for this season?
buddy has brahma 88, with x-comp 18 & raceplate! such a fun ski even on piste/groomers then
It's hilarious how so many people are showing up to the resort to ski groomers all day with powder skis! LOL. I had some dumbass kid at the ski shop tell me a 95mm waist ski was for carving!! LOL. They seem to be oblivious to the true experts that rocket by them gracefully, while they are so busy "carving" with thier fat skis.
JF… I agree with you point about how ski manufacturers title their products. I have a 120 flex boot and I love it! I tried a 130 flex and felt super uncomfortable.
Variety of skiers… variety of ski footage! What’s wrong with that? I like watching people ski… it helps to make a connection 😊⛷️
Skiing on wide skis is a preference. More effort to get on edge and carve, the more control you might have, but again...preference.
How would you say this compares to the new Volkl Kendo OR Ripstick? The 2012 Kendo was my favorite all mountain ski and now I'm vacillating between the Stormrider 88, Volkl Keno and to a lesser degree, the Ripstick.
“Dampt”
Jokes about pronunciation aside very nice review video
Great concise sharing of wisdom in this video, big thumbs up!
Thank you kindly!
you gotta have footage of people skiing on it come onnnnnnnnnnnnn
Follow our social media if ou want to see shots of us skiing, at least we're not in our parent's basement talking about these.
I skied the 2023 95 out West last spring. They were awful in the bumps, but great for cranking GS turns in crud off-piste. I'm not totally shite in bumps; I did my time as a Bump F*g on Outer Limits at Killington. Anyway, how does anyone think the Stormriders are good in bumps? They are like taking FIS GS skis through moguls!
Thanks for your impressions on the 95. We would agree that the Stormrider 95’s are not great mogul skis… this review was about the Stormrider 88’s - a totally different animal.
I demo’d the 88s at Mammoth this weekend, and they were great in the moguls. I bought them.
