I am not a seller. They can’t sell the house in Lethbridge as the houses in the other city such as Calgary, Edmonton, Coaldale, Taber are even more expensive. That’s why the people in Lethbridge are not selling the houses. Once again, I am not the expert. That’s what I think. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone moving here needs to be aware of the Northside smell!!!! If you are not from here you will find it strong and disgusting many days. You will smell it on the south side and sometimes the west but not nearly as bad. If I had moved to the North side without knowing this I would have been very upset. Believe me if you come from BC, Quebec or Ontario you will notice it. Not agriculture but something from the factories there.

Lethbridge is full of crackheads and Mormons.

Good information - it's been decades since I lived in Lethbridge and I visited there a few months ago. Suggestion for the narrator....sit on your hands! The constant waving your hands in front of the camera is really annoying.

maybe add a video about the labour market. e.g. what kind of jobs are in demand and what part of town are they located?

While more units will hit the market due to foreclosures, and owners recognizing that a 30 year mortgage might have been a bad idea, stag-ering-flation (simultaneous high inflation, interest rates and unemployment) seems to point at a currency crisis: Hence, owning favoured to loaning? In the end, "two weeks to flatten the curve" was the greatest fiscal and social misstep in the history of all North American governmental history. I knew it then, and we've all witnessed the reprocussions slowly emerge since that time of lost compounded-productivity paid for by myopic, profligate governments and the demos they represent. These stimilus budgets, unbridled spending of created currency, yeilding in return nothing of any value, is now, both here and the world over, accelerating its disclosure. In 6 to 12 months' time...(truth is, without law and order, one cannot protect ownship of anything - civil strife will escalate even here in Canada so the whole matter of owning vs loaning is moot.)

Wonderful video. What do you think is the projectors for the increase in house prices in the next ten years in Lethbridge.

Having lived in both cities, I have a few comments. Your video mentions "Chinook winds" and how they are great for bringing in warm weather during the winters. This is certainly true. But you fail to mention that Lethbridge is one of the windiest, if not THE windiest city in Canada. Those winds are brutal and can suck the life of out you after awhile. Many people leave Lethbridge because they just can't take the wind anymore. Red Deer does have a true winter climate, with the snow and colder temperatures. However, it does not have that year 'round crazy wind, so I feel the climate in RD is actually better. Also, it means residents can enjoy various winter activities, whereas the constant freeze and melt in Lethbridge doesn't provide the base of snow to do so. One must travel to Crowsnest area to snowmobile, ski, etc. Lethbridge can also be extremely hot in summer, which some people may not like -- but others may love. RD has considerably more parks, walking/cycling paths and overall outdoor and indoor recreational options within the city and with close vicinity. There are no rattlesnakes in RD, it's a much greener area than Lethbridge and its central location means RD has close proximity to Calgary or Edmonton and all that they can offer. Lethbridge is a lovely city, but Red Deer has more to offer in the way of shopping, restaurants, recreational pursuits, access to international airports and overall location. But to each his own!
