Having lived in the states , at 6ft and 175 lbs I was considered fairly athletic. Coming to Asia I was told that I was chubby. It actually messed with my mind that I went from wearing large clothes in the states to extra large in my country of Thailand. I actually lost 15 additional pounds so that I can fit into a large shirt here. It's amazing how society's view on body size can mess up with our sense of physical beauty.

@@dudel39 “time commitment”? It’s the job. If you don’t like riding and training, get another job. Let me give you some sage experience. Guys that make it to the pros all have big motors. Many come up and just love to race. The train to race or race to train. Most train just because they have to. They can race on the big motor until they find that ceiling and at that point the great ones get to work. The rest whine.

I recently discovered the differences between psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social workers, counselors. Some are more about theories, some give drugs, some talk to you like a human sympathetically, some do both the biology and the talk therapy. It's a large field.

Super impressed by Tyler. He is a great example to people. He stuffed up and felt bad about what he was doing and it ate him up until he was forced to come clean and then he really let it all out to try to make good. He was a tough cyclist and a brave bloke. Can't believe his tour ride with a broken collar bone.

"Healing Touch is a therapeutic energy work. I have benefited immensely from Healing Touch and I recommend this wonderful modality to my patients. There are studies showing that touch signals safety and trust, it soothes. Basic warm touch calms cardiovascular stress. It activates the body's vagus nerve, which is intimately involved with our compassionate response, and a simple touch can trigger release of oxytocin, aka “the love hormone.” A hug, a tap on the shoulder, holding hands are all wonderful ways to touch or be touched if any of these do not feel good usually a block has been formed and that is what I do with clients take them back to the root cause of issue stored in tissue and set you free.
