The music is perfect for iron mountains vibe. They were the first resort to have a half pipe in the Tahoe area.

I see all these abandoned ski resorts through out the country,... and I just want to cry 😭. It’s so sad 😞. More people need to surf, board, and ski.

Was just out there the last two days, most of the buildings are burnt down. We jibbed tough, though!

Love it. Nice run, gopro just does not quite give reality to the speed. I notice on mine, only by sound of the wind can you tell you are bombing.

That's not cool at all. Going to head back out there this weekend and scope out the damage. Sucks cause it sounds like it was intentional.

bad news folks. my gal and I went up last night and some asshats had burned all the structures down. such sadness being there.

I think the cables are still attached on most lifts but I really didn't pay much attention to see if all the chairs were still attached. Since the resort closed in the mid 90s, I think many folks snatched up some souvenirs and have chairs in their front yard.

lol. Ok well we will be Tahoe area this weekend (Labor Day). Might need to bring the night vision gear just in case we hear something, or someone, lurking in the woods.

Do you know if the ski lift cables and chairs are still there or did they all get ransacked?

Was here yesterday. Couple of friends and I, stayed the night up there. Place is creepy at night.

It's a great place to camp. It was also 106 that day. We'll be back up there on 9/31 doing the same, lighting up the sky :-)
